Paizo v Diamond Comics Thing Might Be Resolving
“Pathfinder creator Paizo and over a dozen other publishers who have been fighting over a warehouse full of books for the better part of a year and a half, have finally reached an accord with Diamond Comic Distributors, with a joint motion filed on August 5.
The good news for the Pathfinder publisher is that, if the motion is approved, it’ll be receiving all its remaining unsold stock. This is a sizable win, since last month the company’s CEO Jim Butler revealed that it had $10 million worth of product locked up in Diamond Comics’ warehouse. The deal also ends the publisher’s current agreements with Diamond Comics, freeing Paizo up to find a new distributor, which Butler also said was a major thorn in its side.”
