00:00:00 Oh, sorry. >> All right. So, you're talking about this note where it says, "My most my most pathetic servant." >> Yes. >> Uh it starts out um so yeah, I am not uh I'm not a messiah sent to you by the dark powers of this land. I've not come to lead you on a path to immortality. However many souls you have bled on your hidden altar, however many visitors you have tortured in your dungeon, know that you are not the one who brought me to this beautiful land. and you are but a worm writhing in 00:00:29 my earth. >> You say that you are cursed and your fortune spent. Your husband took solace in the bosom of another woman and sired a bastard's son and drove you to abandon love for madness. Cursed by darkness of that I have no doubt. Save you from your wretchedness? I think not. I much prefer you as you are your dreadlord and master Strad Vanzarovich. >> So I think a jerk >> that that Durst was having a a a little twist with the uh probably the um what would you say? The the kid's uh babysitter. 00:01:08 >> The nanny. >> The nanny. >> The nanny. Thank you. And uh Mama Durst found out >> and uh I think he got her pregnant and that was the baby in the picture >> who's still >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, >> maybe Mama Durf's cursed him because it sounds like she's got a uh what they say dungeon or something like that. >> Well, they so the the the uh let me pull it back up again. Hold on a second. So, it talks >> hidden altar. It says >> Yeah, it says uh 00:01:42 >> Oh, in your dungeon. Yeah. >> Yeah. You said you abandoned love for Mattis, took solace in the bosom of another woman. Uh your fortune spent. uh sired a stillborn son cursed by darkness of that I have no doubt uh save you from your wretchedness I think not I much prefer you as you are so yeah he does talk about uh you know however many souls you have bled upon your hidden altar however many visitors you have tortured in your dungeon know that you are not the ones who brought me to this 00:02:12 beautiful land >> right and I'm not a messiah sent to you by the dark powers Right. Which seems like it would indicate that there's something >> bigger, >> greater. Yeah. Dark powers of some sort, >> but it look sounds like I think uh I think Jim's on to something in that. Um >> Well, like like you were saying there, there was a lock on the outside door. So, they were keeping her in here so she couldn't get out. Uh but I think maybe uh Mrs. Durst might 00:02:47 have offered her >> and after she had the baby. >> Uhhuh. >> And uh now she's stuck in this room somehow. Um >> is this room the locked door? This room that we're in. >> Yeah. Yeah. So the the locked door is is here. >> Is that one? Yeah. >> Yeah. And we came into came into the room and uh when John when Bel Velcro stepped on the bed last night and got on this side. >> Yeah. >> She had appear she appeared when he stepped on the bed. When he stepped on 00:03:23 that side of the bed, she threw a spell at him, we think, or looked at him or something. >> And so she didn't advance on him. But I wonder I wonder if her bones are in the bed. >> They just left her body in the bed. >> Uh I don't want to get any closer to her because I don't want to piss her off, but >> Right. Did Did anyone try talking to her? >> Uh we don't have a way to communicate with her. >> Okay. And is this this isn't the floor that there were um FA Failen saw the two 00:04:03 little skeletons clutching each other? >> No, we haven't we haven't come across one floor up. Yeah, >> it's another floor up. Okay, but this is the And and do we know what this door is over to the to the west? Is it like a closet or We haven't opened >> this this one over here. No, we haven't opened it since the ghost popped in. >> Okay. And what what was this space here? >> Uh I didn't go in there. I know the other cleric uh Zezy went in there, but 00:04:30 I don't know if he saw anything or anything like that. >> That CL that area over there. Uh this was >> that in there. >> Yeah, it's like a um >> it's Yeah, it's a uh it's like a storage area in there is um >> Hold on, let me let me make sure. One second. Uh, >> interestingly, less on the the actual Roll 20, I'm not seeing the same thing you're seeing on your screen. >> What are you seeing? >> Wait, what are you seeing? >> I think I'm on a different floor, and I 00:05:03 don't see my character. >> Oh, >> where is your character? >> His character's right here. >> I'm looking at the room that has the dead adventurer in it. Oh, >> you're way you're >> Yes, you're on the floor down below. >> Yeah, >> he's on the floor. >> That's what I'm seeing. And there's no characters here at all, including mine. >> Yeah. >> Oh, >> his character itself is on the third floor, 00:05:32 >> but he's right there. >> But >> yeah, we can see you. He's right there. So, try try refreshing your browser. >> He's stuck on the second floor is where he's at. Oh, is he in a like a wall or something? >> No, he's on the third floor with you guys. I mean, he's right there. >> He's literally right there. Should be right behind me. >> There we go. I see me now. >> You better. >> I was way up north on the map. >> Well, and Guggilda was up there, too. 00:05:56 So, um we had to I had to move her down, but um >> so you're Yeah, you're we should be okay now. All right. But yes, that uh that area over there is um is sort so it's it's very dusty and completely disused, but it looks like a nursery. There are uh there's a um there's a rocking chair in the corner. Uh there's like a table for changing. It looks like a changing table in the back in the back wall over here. You can sort of see it in the back. Um, but it doesn't look like 00:06:28 anybody's been in here for a long time. >> But it looks like a uh like a a nursery. There's like And there's like baby stuff kicking around, you know, like nappies and stuff. And they're on the ground there. It doesn't look like there's anybody been in here. >> Nappies. Come on. >> So this century, >> this could be Mrs. Durst or it could be the the uh >> I don't I think the ghost I think the ghost is the nanny. What does she look like? What I mean, 00:06:58 >> you could if you zoom in on her, but Les can do a a pullup of her. >> So, can we tell? I mean, I know that she'll be sort of, you know, translucent and all, but is does she look like she was um she doesn't look like she was particularly young? Like, do we think she died here of old age or do we >> She does look like a young woman. She also looks uh uh very uh thin and bony. Um but yeah, it's obvious that she is of undead and she's she's like staring malevolently at you guys. Now, she 00:07:33 hasn't spoken. She hasn't made any noise. She just appeared. Uh and then now she's just like sort of eyeballing you guys up. Oh, also in the other room, I should mention there is uh the the changing station has like a like a curtain sort of like over it, a black curtain >> um that's just sort of sitting there. It's come away from the wall. It was obvious that it would was hanging on the wall at some time and it's come away. So, it's just sort of draped over. >> Oh, 00:07:58 >> why don't why don't you check to see if there's bones there. If the baby's body is there. >> They did say there was it was a stillborn. >> I'll I'll go. They might have buried the baby like >> Well, they might have buried the baby or they might have just said >> left the dead baby in the crib and let her uh waste away. Let her start. >> Yeah. So, let me I'll come in here and I'll May I please take a look around and may I lift uh Oh, I'm going to do a 00:08:30 terrible thing. I'm gonna put my sword away and >> Oh, no. No. >> I'm gonna explore with my hands. The plight of this woman has me really sad and so I want to be like tender with her emotions. I don't want to like make her think I'm chopping up her baby bones. with my >> lesson. I'm going to slowly reach into my backpack and pull out a piece of chalk. >> Okay. Uh, all right. So, the moment that Rugilda enters into that um, so this the the the >> Maybe it was you. 00:09:08 >> Sorry. Hold on. My my stupid computer screen is acting wonky. One second here. Stop doing that. Stop doing it, >> [ __ ] All right. There we go. Uh okay. So um so the uh the the the ghost who has been sort of looking at you guys uh sort of staring balefully at you, you know, like you know, and uh you know, but she hasn't attacked or anything like that. She's uh essentially just by watching. But the moment Grildilda passes through into the nursery area, suddenly her eyes just go and she is 00:09:44 laser locked on the back of Grildilda's head. Uh she still doesn't say anything and she still doesn't move away from that mirror that she's standing in front of. Um but uh uh she's she's watching Grugilda and you guys all can see it. Grugilda, you can't really see it because you're facing the other way, but that ghost is uh is looking right at you. >> Okay. So, I've put my sword away. >> Okay. >> Uh so that I I'm not making I'm trying 00:10:10 not to, you know, I'm trying to be I mean I'm a barbarian or whatever, but like what Oh, what passes for also cleric. I'm going to be a cleric dedication, right? Like what passes? This is seems like a terrible story. So, what passes for like uh like reverence or uh you know like uh like honoring someone's sorrow, right? That's my I'm hoping I look like that. And then I would go over and I would see what I can see without touching anything, but then like gently lift the black cover. 00:10:42 >> Okay. So, you lift up the you lift up the cover. All right. And so as you do it, you a ton of dust comes pouring off of this thing. It's just collected the dust of years. Uh but you roll it back and underneath is a fairly standard sort of what we would identify today as a baby changing station. Um and it's and it's fairly standard operational kind of thing, but in the middle of the top is a bundle about babysized of black cloth wrapped very tightly and just sitting there. And speaking of a very tightly wrapped 00:11:15 bundle of black cloth, Eric's here. >> Good evening, my friend. >> Nice to see you. Um, I got to actually go tuck in my my family. Um, come here little bundle. >> Got you. >> They can't see you. Come here. Here's >> Sure. >> Hey guys, how are you? >> Have a good night now. Okay. >> What's happening? You guys having a good evening? Did you have a good weekend? Yeah, I guess. >> All right. Well, now it's time for bed. You've got to have a good night. You 00:11:48 have to have a good night's sleep. >> How was Halloween, >> Daddy? How was Halloween? >> Uh, it was okay. I guess >> it was okay. >> It was actually pretty good. >> Pretty good. >> What' you guys dress as? Did you guys dress up? >> I was a fox. >> And I was a cat with wigs. You were you were >> remember >> you were a catwing. Yes. A catwing. >> Catwing. Okay. >> Anyway, I got to get them to bed. I'll be right back. 00:12:21 >> Yeah. Go to bed, kids. >> Okay. Good night. >> We'll see you in just a minute. >> Good night, guys. >> Let me go on mute here. >> Oh, that's good. >> Saw some bunny ears coming out of there. Uh while >> Groom Hilda is doing that, I am going to take the chalk. >> Okay. >> And write on the floor. How can we help you? >> Okay. >> So that she can read it. >> Gotcha. Okay. So like sort of reverse kind of like facing her kind of thing. 00:12:50 >> Right. Upside down basically to >> Okay. All right. So, she's staring at uh um she's staring at Gratilda, but she does, as you reach down and take the chalk and begin scrching it out on the screeching this message out on the floor, you see her eyes just kind of look down and you know, they're like uh and she looks at she looks at you again. Uh and um she points she points to your message and she points she does like this and she points to the bed. She points to the message and the bed. 00:13:30 >> Okay. To the bed. >> So, so if I slowly move towards the bed and start to pull the covers back. >> No, she's just like and points to the bed. >> Points at the big bed. >> Yeah. >> But she makes like a like sort of a almost like a writing sign >> and points to the bed. >> She saw you have the chalk. Maybe she thinks you're supposed to write on the bed. >> Write on the bed >> or write around it? >> Can Failen investigate the bed or like 00:14:05 examine it? >> Sure. >> And use her her sonic vision. >> Uh, okay. >> Does she sense anything invisible or hidden >> as far as Give me a perception check for failing. Oh, what happened to my character sheet? Went away >> when I restarted. That's right. When I refreshed, of course. >> Sorry. Now I have to reset everything. And you know that'll take a while. Spinning wheel. There we go. Um, Failen Can't find the book I was using. >> Familiar 00:14:57 reception is plus five. >> Well, I'll be right back. I'm going to go grab a beer real quick while we're waiting on >> Oh, okie dokie. >> Okay. Did it roll? Here we go. Now it's going to roll. There you go. >> Acrobatics. >> Uh, Acrobatics 23. All right. So, I don't know why you're doing acrobatics. You want to She's perceiving the bed, right? >> Acrobatics. Hold on a second. >> This whole thing is not working. >> It's the same It's the same modifier, 00:15:25 plus five. So, go ahead and use it. >> All right. Uh, plus five. So, 23. All right. Yeah. So, she uh Failen is is able to sort of like And you guys uh what? So, Dan, describe to me what everybody else is experiencing while Failen does that. Can they detect her like sonic? Is she clicking like a dolphin or something? Or >> It might be a little bit more like a bat. >> All right. So, not quite as noisy, but there might be a slight screech to it. Like a little monkey screech >> kind of thing. Okay. Uh, all right. So, 00:15:56 as she's So, she's um she's doing that. She does not detect any person or would I say void. I guess it's it it it comes back as a regular bet. There doesn't seem to be any hidden chambers or there's no people in it, any nothing like that. >> Nothing invisible. Okay, then I'll try and detect magic next. >> Okay. Uh, it does not the bed does not radiate magic. >> Although the if you pan around a bit >> if you pan around a bit though with the detect magic, the mirror behind the 00:16:32 ghost does. >> Okay. >> And and it and if you take and if you take a moment to concentrate on it, it radiates necromancy magic. >> So the mirror is maybe what's keeping the ghost around. Well, >> well, I'm >> baby >> if the baby's in the other room and she can't get to it, >> right? So, we could carry the baby bundle and put it on the bed. >> That's not a bad idea. I I wonder if her bones are on under the covers or is the bone Does the bed look board flat? 00:17:06 >> Yeah, it doesn't look like it's been slept in. >> Um, can I lean over and peek under the bed? Sure, >> I'll do that just to She went like she's writing and then pointed at the bed. I still haven't quite >> could be. Yeah, there's a an evil symbol written under the bed. >> As far as you can tell, >> there's an evil symbol under the bed. Oh, >> no, there's not. Uh you look under the bed, nothing but dust kitties. Uh there's there's it's just dusty under 00:17:40 there. There doesn't seem to be any symbols written or anything like that. Anything special about the headboard? Is there a headboard? >> No, other than for such a wealthy home. I mean, this is a mansion and there's obviously there are many of the accutrants that you might find uh in a wealthy person's mansion, right? You've got the the various kinds. The furniture is wellmade. There's paintings, you know, um you know, crystal glasses in a in a cabinet for thing. The the dining 00:18:07 room is very fancy, but this room is not fancy at all. It's more like the bed is very plain and um not uh wellmade. Um you know the cabinet that she's standing behind uh is is sort of unadorned. There's no carved wood on it or anything like that. Even in the baby's room, the rocking chair and the and the changing station are sort of >> plain >> rustic. Yeah. Plain. uh there's no there's no carpets on the floor uh where you've seen you know in a lot of places 00:18:44 there are carpets on the floor the the the fine furniture is not so the if looking at the bed itself even the blankets are kind of I'm not I say threadbear but thin uh not of high quality uh it's not opulent by any stretch of the imagination and you when you look at the when you look at the head headboard um you know it's plain it's just a essentially it's a piece of stuck on there. Just a board really. >> Well, the the vellum note refers to a hidden altar. >> Mhm. 00:19:19 >> So, I was guessing that might be why she was pointing at the bed, but I'm not seeing anything that looks like an altar. >> But we could She seemed to understand the writing on the floor. Um, could you is it possible like you could sort of wipe it out out and ask if she would like the baby be brought to the bed? >> Go ahead and ask. Yeah, write. I'll write it on the floor. Should we bring the the child to the bed? H >> she at the as she looks down and she's 00:19:59 still kind of looking at Grildilda who's still in sort of the doorway over there. Do you have the bundle with you? >> No, I didn't touch >> You left it in the thing >> but just lifting the fabric. >> Gotcha. Okay. Uh so she is she she looks down at this writing that you've put on the ground. Uh and you can see that rather than her her whole sort of visage kind of changed changes uh at once where she was once sort of like you know angry uh resentful uh that's what she looked like. These 00:20:29 were the her eyes were you know dark and hooded and and uh um angry almost. Uh when she reads your message that changes and she becomes uh sad. Uh the temperature you will notice gets a lot colder in here. Uh it was already quite chilly. Uh much more cold than the outside of the uh outside of this room. Um it gets even colder now. And those of you who are in the in the room, which is all of you, could you can see your breath uh kind of coming out of your out of your mouths. It's that cold. So you 00:21:03 figure the temperature dropped probably a good 20 to 25 degrees in a second. >> All right. >> Uh and then but she doesn't look angry anymore. She looks incredibly sad. >> So I I would take the black shroud >> and and fold it so it's >> larger than the baby but like a pillow. Do you know what I mean? Like so I would put the bundle on on sort of the pillow of the folded shroud but like treating it like then it's like a blanket like a softness. And then I would slowly and solemnly carry 00:21:41 it the baby the body to the bed and I would lay it >> I would cross. She didn't like it. But I'll slowly cross and if she gets upset like if I come. Do you think Tenzen would you step back so I could be where you are to bring the baby? You want there? >> Well, you don't have to step closer to her. Just so that Yeah. So I can I can approach the bed. Um >> Well, maybe it's not even the bed that she wants it at. maybe, you know, she wants it up there, but we'll set it on 00:22:21 the bed first and then write another message. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, I'll do that. So, I'll move I'll carry the baby to the bed. I'll put it here. If she seems okay, still not >> Well, she's she's still staring at you and the angryness has returned. Uh, she's not sad anymore. Uh, she's angry and she's looking at you and you can feel you can feel the weight of this of her staring as you sort of walk towards the bed. Um, >> and I would put the baby down on the bed 00:22:51 again like you know like >> carefully gently. >> Uh, and if I >> everybody who's not Gilda, >> give me a perception check. >> Do I need to click on my character to do it or just hit perception? >> Uh, I think you just hit perception. Should work. Hey. Yeah, it worked. Okay. >> Where do you see perception? I think I have to open my character sheet to see it. >> Oh, yeah. >> It's on the right side where it says hit points. Just below hit points, it says 00:23:25 perception. And just under that, there's a little thing that says perception and initiative. >> Yeah. >> Hit the one on the left that says perception. >> It might be different for you because you're using demiplane, but I I don't know for sure. >> Yeah, I think I have to open it. But it disappeared again. I don't understand. I got to tell you, demilane is not all it's cracked up to me, frankly. >> It was hard to find. >> I think I just got to get used to it, 00:23:52 right? >> Well, it's always a learning curve. >> 11. There you go. Okay. Uh so, Eric, uh have Audawa make a quick perception check, please. >> Yes, sir. Um uh I am just tuning in and rolling up at the roll 20 and uh I am so sorry to be so late um at this time. >> Yeah, no worries. You got uh you got kids to put in, man. >> I appreciate you. Uh you wish for me to roll a who now? >> Perception check, please. >> Oh, perceive. Gotcha. Here we go. Did that work? 00:24:30 >> It did. >> Uh all right. So, uh, Iggy, you're looking outside, I think, maybe onto the the balcony past that door. Um, because you missed this, but as Grildilda, you're distracted for some reason, but as Grugilda gets closer to the bed and you can see the ghost's attention on Grindilda. Tenzen, you see it first and then Audawa, uh, you're right there and you kind of look around, you see another ghostly figure come out of the nursery. Oh, this one come out of the nursery. 00:25:02 >> Come out of the nursery. And it's And this one is even more ghostly looking than the ghost, right? It's transparent. Uh you can see right through this thing. It's a It's a woman uh fairly tall, black hair um dressed in um dark clothes uh that that comes kind of like whooshing through. And >> does it does it look like Mrs. Durst? >> It absolutely does. Uh it looks like but once you once you get a look at with your 17, you get a look as you look over and the first thing you think of is 00:25:38 that's Mrs. Durst. Uh but the face is all like imagine, and this is going to be a terrible analogy, but uh you remember when you were a kid and the dirty channels on TV were all sort of like scrabbly and weird. Um, you know, when uh this may be so Gwen, this may be something that only dudes did was trying to get, you know, trying to get cinemax, but uh um >> no more, >> but it was like sort of all kind of like pixelated and twisted and stuff like that. Her her body looks normal if 00:26:13 see-through, if transparent. Her face has this twisted, tortured feature. You cannot make out her features. But as she comes over, she walks past Audawa, comes up behind Gruggilda. And Gilda, you you're not seeing any of this. You're focused on the on the ghost. Uh, and it sort of inhabits the same space that Grugilda's in. And it's towering over because Grillilda, you're only about what, 42, 43? >> Same same size as you are in real life. >> Oh, you're muted. Sorry. 00:26:48 >> Yeah. No, that was that was wrong of me. I should have said that. You're 4 foot4. I know that. >> Yeah. Um >> and a half. >> Um so it inhabits the same space as Gilda and Gruggilda has this bundle in her hand which he is gently laying down on the bed and you see the rest of you, Gilda, you do not see any of this. The rest of you see Mrs. Durst, you assume it's Mrs. Durst's ghost sort of reach in past Guggilda so that her arms and Gruggilda's arms are in the same thing. 00:27:23 And it looks like at this point it looks like Mrs. Durst is also laying the baby on the bed. Oh, >> Gruggilda, you don't see this. The rest of you are sort of like what? At which point the ghost just sort of does, you know, you see her face just sort of like a mask come comes over her face and a still ghost. >> Gilda, get the baby back in the room. >> The other ghost, the one that you guys uh the one in the front of the mirror. >> Get the baby back in the other room. 00:27:53 Take it back quick. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Uh so I'll >> The ghost before you do you you hear Iggy say, "Take the baby back. take the baby back. At which point, the ghost from the mirror kind of gets a look on her face and her and opens up her mouth and her mouth opens like hugely wide. Uh, and she immediately just like flies directly at you. The rest of you guys see the thing flying and it looks like it's attacking the Mrs. Durst ghost, but Grildilda is caught in the crossfire. 00:28:27 So, let's roll for initiative, shall we? >> Holy moly. >> Boy. Uhoh. The Durst Ghost isn't physically in the space here, though. >> Uh, you mean like there's a token for it? No. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And it just and it just came into uh like Grildilda. It's essentially it's it's inhabiting the same squares Grillilda is in and doing the same things that Grugga is doing. >> Initiative. Correct. >> Correct. Amundo. All right. I can't find my initiative. 00:29:06 Oh, there we go. >> It's right next to your perception. >> Oh, wait. >> No, you're not looking at the same screen I'm looking at. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. >> I'm I am not ra Because I can rage at initiative like as a free action, but I am not raging because I'm still like hoping that she just wants her baby that she couldn't get to. And so, I'm not raging. Okay. Uh, is everybody Cuda? Yeah. Tenzen, Gilda. Oh, Iggy. We're still waiting on Iggy. 00:29:42 >> Yeah, >> Iggy. >> Oh, Iggy. >> Classic Iggy. >> There he is. >> Nice. >> All right, let me >> Did it go in automatically? >> It did indeed. >> Yay. Did something right. All right. So, the ghost flies it grew. It looks like the ghost is flying at you. Her her face, you know, you know how some people you've met in life when they when they've go they go from angry to incensed, like all the expression drains out of their face. That's kind of what's 00:30:16 happened here. And she just charges right at you. >> Okay. All right. So, I am I'm still hoping she's approaching the baby. I'm going to take a five foot step back. >> Okay. And you still are you still holding the baby or did you leave it on the bed? >> No, I had put the baby on the bed. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Put the baby and I tried to place it, you know, gently on the bed like >> Gotcha. Okay. >> Would put a baby on the bed like you know. Uh but so and I'll take a five 00:30:44 foot step back and then I will I'm already ready in action. So if if she does attack me or anyone in the party, I'll pull my weapon. >> Okay. >> Okay, that's it. Cuz I think readying is due. Two actions. >> Gotcha. Okay. All right. So you lay the the the thing down on the on the bed, step back. >> Yeah. >> Uh and then just wait to see what happens. >> Yeah. Does do I then see the the the the >> Durst in the space where I was or No, when >> No, you do not. 00:31:27 >> Okay. Okay. >> You guys still do. Uh and what it looks like is to you guys is that Madame Durst is sort of stepping backwards away. She's not still following Grugga, but she's stepping backwards now that the the baby is on the bed. Uh one second. I need to do something real quick here. Oops. Oops. Oops. Okay, cool. Uh, all right. So, sec. Okay. Um, all right. So, next up is Tenzen. What are you doing? Uh, it looks to you like the ghost is attacking Mrs. Durst and you can see Mrs. Durst's shade kind of 00:32:22 back off and she's so the one ghost, the mirror ghost is sort of like, you know, kind of like acting very forthrightly whereas the the Mrs. Durst ghost is sort of acting very gently like, you know, kind of, you know, not they're not they're not acting with the same levels of speed almost as if they're separated in some way timewise. like this is a um go >> like a haunting like like Mrs. Durst has left an image um behind of something she's done in the past. >> It's possible. um 00:33:07 like her Durst's thing would play over and over the same way whereas the ghost is and you said the mirror >> Iggy Iggy said that the mirror had >> the mirror could be what's generating the ghost. >> Well, or it's holding her or something. >> Yeah. Um, >> just going to stay where I'm at to see what the ghost does. >> Okay. >> I don't I'm trying not to I don't want to attack. I just want to see what where she's going with it. 00:33:58 >> Right. Okay. Um, >> I'm going to mark where Durst is with a black circle. Can you guys see that? >> Oh, thank you. >> Yeah. >> So, she's standing where right where Guggilda was. Uh, and she's sort of like she's moving very It's very strange. The the Durst ghost is kind of moving very fluidly and, you know, backwards and that kind of stuff. As the other ghost, which is moving very sort of like angrily and choppily, uh, is attacking it. It looks like it's attacking 00:34:26 >> the Durst ghost, but there's nothing. I mean, there's nothing for there. So, the one go, it's like the one ghost's hands pass through it. You know, she tries to grab her throat, but it misses and, you know, just kind of passes through. But they're reacting. They're definitely reacting to each other. >> Uh, c can we tell? We know that the girl ghost is undead. Is there a way to tell that Mrs. Durst ghost is undead? Or is it a an illusion? >> I don't know. Uh um I mean knowledge 00:35:00 occult. Maybe knowledge. >> Well, that would be an Iggy thing. I don't have >> That's an interesting point. >> Oh, wait. Aren't you a cleric? >> Just a theory. >> Aren't you a cleric? >> No, I'm not a cleric. >> Oh, both of our clerics are gone. >> Oh, okay. >> Why do I think cleric? >> Your your clerics have abandoned you. >> Oh, no. I'm almost a Claire >> in my heart. Claire. Hey, by the way, I wanted to show you guys. I just got my 00:35:32 uh so I did a Kickstarter dice uh the one I uh I talked to you guys about in the in the email. They finally showed up. Look at those things. Look at those bad boys. >> Oh, wow. >> Really cool. >> Are these these aren't the ones that are um are these the ones that are like honest dice? Uh, Botch is the name of the is the name of the company. Uh, they're sort of laser not engraved, but sort of laser printed, so you can I don't know if you can see it, but you can see the 00:36:04 numbers. There's like spiderw webs and stuff in them, but it's like it's like embossed on there. Uh, it's it's it's really cool. >> Yeah, they they look easy to read, which is >> Yeah. >> important. But also, I saw I think I thought I saw it on Kickstarter. I saw a thing for dice and they were um I swear I thought it was something like honest dice and and on the 20 the numbers were in different places because it's all weighted to make sure it's exact and rather than like engrave out 00:36:37 the numbers because then like >> changes the weight. Sure. >> It changes the weight. They did it's like some other process so it wouldn't like it's like completely No loaded dice. Um >> I have uh I I have Googled loaded Dungeons and Dragons dice. Uh and as far as I can tell, nobody's out there making them. >> Yeah. Well, they were just saying that just the regular way. And also, for some reason, they changed the shape of the four because if you like it's like a me 00:37:08 Lego piece, you know, if you drop on the floor and step on it, you have to get a teta shot. >> So, this is like this is what the four looks like for this one. >> It's like a little It's like a little barrel. >> Yes. That this is it. >> Oh, cool. >> Yeah. One, three. >> Looks like a root beer candy. >> Yeah, it does. It does look It does very much look like a root beer candy. Uh but yeah, they're great. Anyway, I encourage you if you're in the in the uh in the 00:37:33 market for some new dice, check out Botch Dice. Uh my my cousin James now works there part-time uh helping them. So, they're out based out of Milwaukee. It's a friend of James' and he he asked me, you know, would you be interested in supporting this guy's Kickstarter? He's he's a buddy of mine and so now he's working there helping them with shipping and things. Anyway, sorry we interrupted. >> Iggy, do you have a way of uh what am I look what's the word I'm 00:38:02 looking for? Finding out if she is cursed or the mirror is cursed. >> I can only do like a detect magic and and I know what I know about the mirror right now. I don't know another way to know more. >> Okay, >> less would this be considered a tense situation? >> Uh, I think it started out tense and now it is is is devolving into something a bit more chaotic because you essentially have potentially two ghosts fighting in the middle of the room. Um, and you're not sure what's going to happen next. 00:38:45 >> Okay, I'll bring this up on my turn then. >> Okay, Tenson, it's still your turn. >> I I'm I'm I'm just staying. >> All right. You're not going to draw a weapon or anything or try and, you know, fight the weapon. >> Oh, that's right. That's right. >> All right. >> That's so primitive. >> The ghost is, as I mentioned before, is like attacking this this this shade of of Mrs. Durst who's going sort of backwards and that kind of stuff. It 00:39:14 does look weirdly out of phase because the ghost is obviously reacting to the same things that you guys are seeing, >> but the things that you're seeing are not reacting like it would like a a creature would to a ghost, right? It's just sort of like this this very sort of airy kind of thing. It's obviously reacting to something, but um that kind of stuff. The ghost then looks at >> the ability I'm talking about is a free action. >> Oh, go ahead. >> Go ahead. Finish what you were saying. 00:39:45 >> The ghost is attacking uh and uh the uh uh the the durst uh creature um and you get a couple of things. One, you can >> uh you can see that uh the ghost, which is the nanny ghost, if we want to call it the nanny ghost, uh seems to be quite a bit smaller than uh uh Mrs. Durst. Mrs. Durst is actually if if the shade of Mrs. Durst is at all representative of what she looked like in real life. She was a tall woman uh and and quite uh sort of imposing looking. Whereas the the nanny ghost is she's only about 5 00:40:23 1/2 ft tall and very skinny, almost emaciated uh by the looks of her. You can see the skin has drawn back around what what would be would have been her skull. Her eyes are sunk deep in their sockets. um you know that kind of >> like like they would have starved her >> that stuff. She has a she has a u a starvation vibe or possibly. Yeah. >> Um the ghost continues to sort of swat at Granhilda and Akudagawa. You uh you see that they're reversing towards you. Um they seem to be pushing the the the 00:40:55 nanny ghost seems to be pushing the durst thing back towards the the door of the nursery. So you would have to I mean it actually is like sort of pushing that way. >> Get out the way. >> Get out of the way. Yeah, >> Iggy and Failen give me a perception check. >> Okay. And then don't forget I want to do a free action thing. >> Okay. >> Um let me give me here is mine. >> Okay. >> Uh okay. And now let me find Iggies will be better or Failen's will be better. 00:41:34 >> Let's hope. >> It can't be worse. >> Oh, they don't make it easy to switch to her, do they? >> They do not. >> And perception. >> That seems like >> Wow. Worst role. >> Wow. Same thing. All right. >> We're distracted by something else right now. >> Okay. Uh, Akudagawa, you give me a uh I'm just gonna make uh this other black circle is the bundle. >> Oh, that's good. Okay. Yes. >> Uh, all right. Auda gave me a quick 00:42:07 perception check. Would you Oh, he's not there. Um. All right. Well, none of the rest of you, everybody else is busy, so um and we'll skip over Audawa and go to Iggy. Oh, uh um Iggy, you wanted to do a free action? >> Free action. So, so this is my um uh the bookish providence skill that I have. I didn't realize it was a free action. So, I could have done it when he asked me the question. >> Okay. >> Do I know anything that might help with this situation? >> Once per day during combat. 00:42:38 >> Um it has to be under it's like a recall under pressure it's called. It's a lot like I know a guy instead it's oh I read about that once >> and I chance to have read a book that might be relevant to this situation. >> Okay, go for it. >> It is a simple lore check. So I'm just going to do a lore roll. >> Gotcha. All right, perfect. >> Oh, that sucked. >> The nine. Yeah. You don't think that you've ever read about uh two ghosts 00:43:07 fighting? Dang it. All right. So, there's my once per day gone. >> You have I will give you this though. You have read in multiple areas and this is why it can it it occurs to you even with something as terrible as a nine on a roll. Um is that mirrors are often uh not always but often associated with ghosts. Um especially uh mirrors that were and and the lore largely has it that mirrors that were present at the time the ghost was created or at the incident that caused the the the undead 00:43:48 spectre to uh to be created often serve as focal points because they're they're reflecting the activities much like a ghost does in its in its own. Right? A haunting for example reflects kind of reflects over time the incidents that have such that has created such a temporal stain you know an extradimensional stain place the uh the mirror is like playing a film. >> Yeah. Or or um or creating an environment in which this film could live >> or could reside. I shouldn't say live, 00:44:29 >> right? But yeah, mirrors and mirrors and and hauntings and ghosts and the your more spectral undead seem to be linked. You've you've read several things about the linkages between mirrors and and hauntings and ghosts and things of that nature. >> Well, Iggy, do we break it then or >> to stop it from playing the film over and over? >> Let me know if you want to do another lore check on this less. But would I have what I read say it's important to destroy it or could I just cover it? 00:45:03 >> Uh, go ahead. Do a lure check. >> Cover it. It's not a bad idea. >> And then Eric and Eric Eric will go back to your turn >> because we skipped you because you weren't in your seat. >> 22. Yeah. I mean, so in it's undetermined. There are some stories that you have read, some recounts that you have read that destroying the mirror banished the ghost. There are others that said the mirror is just simply a watcher uh for example um and that it has seen and recorded those things and 00:45:36 thereby sort of inhabits the same sort of liinal space that the ghost does but has no real connection to the ghost. Um uh it's it could nobody knows uh for sure. >> And so covering it does not probably seem like a good idea to me. It's either destroy it or don't do anything. >> Okay. Okay. Well, it is a mirror, so uh you know, seven years bad luck kicks in, >> right? >> Is it is this a plain looking mirror? >> Yeah, it's not uh it's not really nice. 00:46:04 It is a fulllength mirror on a on a uh you know, like a >> swivel. >> Yeah, those things where you know, >> but it's Yeah, it's the same. It's similar in construction and quality to all of the other furniture that you see around here. >> Which which probably disturbs me. They had money. They could have made stuff more beautiful than this. Yeah, Iggy is going to attempt to move around this way. >> All right, wait a second. Uh, let's Before you do that, Iggy, let's go back 00:46:32 to Akuragawa. He was he was Eric wasn't there. Let's go back to his turn. Yeah, let's go back. >> So, so sorry. >> That's right. >> We know why. >> Hear me? >> Yep. >> Thank you. Uh uh uh uh it it's been a um uh and a um interesting evening at uh Shay Borland. Anyway, um good to see you all and um so I am I to understand that this mirror is essentially a medium in which this movie plays over and over. >> Well, currently you have two ghosts 00:47:12 coming right at you. >> Okay. And we're saying move out of the way because the one ghost is pushing the other ghost back towards a nursery, >> right? It's Yeah, they're sort of like uh >> they're heading this way. >> That's fine. Uh um so the ghosts are headed toward here. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Yeah, they're sort of headed in this in this direction. >> That's totally fine. Um I'm going to bounce. Uh then uh >> move over here. 00:47:48 >> Okay. >> Out of the way. Uh and I'm going to just be I mean I I know even I know just a a street urchin goblin knows I probably can't uh hurt a ghost. So I'm not going to try to fight the ghost. But I am going to watch the movie play. So, I'm going to just uh stand by. >> Okay. Uh All right, then. Uh before you before you stand by, give me a quick perception check. >> Yes, sir. Perception check. Uh boom. Oh, boy. >> Seven. Is that a What'd you roll? A two. 00:48:29 A natural two. Okay. Um >> boy, >> Ruggild. Uh well, we'll get to this. All right, Iggy, you're up. >> Not doing a job. All right. So, Iggy's again going to move around here. 5 10 15 20 25 30. >> Okay. >> And then he's got to move an extra five. And then the mirror's in this corner, right? >> Oh, >> correct. Yeah, it's like right here. >> Okay. >> Can you see it? >> He's watching the ghost. Does she react as he heads towards the mirror? 00:49:06 >> She does not. She's still She's still fighting Mrs. Durst or trying to fight Mrs. Durst. >> Okay. I uh I attack the mirror. >> Okay. What do you do to it? >> Whoa. >> Um I'm hitting it with a small flail. >> I got to tell you, a small flail flail is probably the perfect weapon to use against a big mirror. >> This is great. That's got to be perfect. All right. So, uh, you do do an attack roll. >> So, inanimate objects have a certain 00:49:45 number of hit points, >> uh, and an AC of uh, 10, which Okay, so you hit it. Uh, do do uh, do damage. >> Okay, now I'm G. It says it rolls a D4, which I understand, but I think I get because I chose this on purpose to be finesse, so it should be my deck bonuses. Do I get the dex bonus for damage or just for attack? >> Just for attack, I believe. >> Yeah, it's just to attack. >> Okay, >> one point. Konk, even though you have chosen quite possibly the best weapon 00:50:18 for destroying a mirror, the ball bounces off the front of it and sort of you got a you got a weird angle on it, you know, that kind of stuff. It just it it didn't break. >> No, >> didn't break. However, >> did she react at all? >> She did react. when you when you you hear that sort of kabonk off of the mirror, you see her head kind of like look around and now she's like she's looking at you. Uh, as she's got like one hand uh against what might have been 00:50:45 Mrs. Durst's throat, she now is looking at you and that you know her otherwise impassive face when she was attacking um is now less impassive now. Regilda. Okay. Round two. Guggilda, it's your turn. You're seeing all this transpire in front of you. Give me a quick perception check, though. >> Okay. >> What about >> You still cannot see the Mrs. Durst ghost. >> What about Failen's turn? >> Oh, yeah. Does Failen want to do anything? >> Well, no. 00:51:23 >> Failen wasn't in the uh in the initiative order. That's the >> Yeah, I she'd just be on my turn. Um, as a familiar, she can't attack. >> Right. >> Right. >> And I'm not sure there's much she can do other than attack right now. >> Okay. >> I should at least move her over by me. There we go. >> Yes. >> All right. Sounds good. All right. Gilda, your perception was a 14. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. The bundle's moving. 00:51:53 >> The bundle's moving. >> The bundle on the bed is now wiggling. Okay. So, I am going to not worry about opportunity attacks. I'm just going to move over to here. Uh to here. And I want to inspect the bundle. I gently like gently like you would a baby. >> Are you like poking at it or opening it up? >> Not gently. You're being attacked by ghosts. I don't think >> I didn't try. I assumed it was a corpse that had been like swaddled, you know, wrapped up like shroud like but but I 00:52:31 now if it's moving I want to um like first like like maybe touch it and see what do I feel? Do I feel bones? Do I feel like like somehow like a baby or a like something more substantial than bones? And then if it's if I can tell how it's like, you know, like sometimes you wrap and you tuck like if I can untuck and sort of like open up like you would take this bottling off to change a baby, you know? >> Gotcha. Okay. So, uh, a couple of things. First, let's talk about the wrappings, right? So, the bundle that 00:53:07 you saw on the thing was wrapped up in many ways like a baby burrito kind of thing would be wrapped up only the head was covered as well. >> So, it was wrapped up like a doobie for lack of better terms. Um, so it was definitely wrapped up and very intricately wrapped and so that there was no loose ends or anything like that. So that's what and it was like cylindrical about baby sized. >> Okay. >> Right. Then you took the curtain that was laying down and you sort of wrapped 00:53:37 it up again to carry >> wrapped it up. I made like a square like a blank. >> Yeah. Just sort of like a carry all. Yeah. Kind of to put it on the cushion so that I could carry the whole thing. Yeah. >> Okay. Gotcha. All right. So, when you reach down, it's very easy for you to sort of knock away the the curtain part, >> right? >> Uh as you if you open that up, a couple of things can happen. Uh first, you are hit by an absolutely horrendous smell. Um you're not at first you're like, "Oh, 00:54:09 that's a dead baby." Uh, but then you're like, there's the smell of >> dead baby crap in his pants. >> It's not decomposition. It's more like it's a it's a yeasty almost ready smell um that's coming off. And it's and it's not like, oh, the smell of baking bread in a fall, you know, how wonderful there's cinnamon on the air, you know, that kind. No, no, no. It's it's it's a bad smell. uh and you as a as a dwarfish barbarian uh I mean you you're feeling 00:54:43 you feel a sense of revulsion almost immediately. >> You also see that the wrappings which otherwise were >> competently done and relatively tight where there's no loose end. They're starting to come undone. When you touch that and sort of see if there's bones in there, >> there's definitely not bones, but as you touch it, it sort of >> presses inward in a weirdly gooey fashion, >> but it's it looks like whatever's inside is unwrapping itself. 00:55:19 >> Okay. Well, I'll remove the covering for the head because I guess I don't know if that's too I moved. So, >> you just like reach down and sort of like pop the head covering off. >> Yeah. Lift but gently like in case it really is I'm still thinking this poor woman, right? Like this poor woman that's the ghost and really she was victimized in so many different ways and but this is like just a terrible thing. Like they didn't couldn't even give a proper burial to her baby. And yeah, so 00:55:49 like gently. >> All right. So, you pull the head portion off of the wrapping and it's almost it comes away with almost like an audible pop. >> Uh, and you realize that you may have done a much worse thing than you hoped to do because inside that bundle pops out and you see a head and an arm and it begins immediately levering itself off. Here, I'll I'll show you. It looks like this. >> Oh my gosh. So, it's definitely a human baby or once was, but it looks awfully weird right 00:56:28 now. It begins making sort of gobbling noises at you >> and begins sort of as as it's sort of twisting itself out of the wrappings. It begins heading towards you, Gilda. >> Oh jeez. >> And it's making sort of like as it's coming forward. >> What is the ghost doing when she sees the baby? >> Nothing. She's looking at Iggy and still fighting Mrs. Durst. She does not react to the baby coming out or the baby's noise. >> Okay. All right. That's great. 00:56:56 >> So, let's just put >> Put the baby on the turn order. >> We got to put the baby on the turn order. Let's see what's What is it? What is a disgusting ghost Baby's uh initiative? Wow. It's actually quite good. This is a fast moving ghost baby. >> What What's that movie? What What was that movie with the carnivorous? There was a uh an undead movie like 28 days later or something like that where one of a pregnant woman gets uh infected and then uh she dies. She dies 00:57:31 >> and then the baby starts moving inside her stomach and when her husband cuts her open, it's an undead baby. >> Oh no, that's really gruesome. >> That's That's going a bit far. Good heavens. undead baby. >> Iggy, do you have a a remove curse? Well, no, it's probably the clerics, isn't it? >> Yeah. What are all I'm saying is is for the mirror. >> Oh, for the mirror. >> Yeah, for the mirror. >> All right. Uh, are you doing anything 00:58:10 else now that you've uh I think that probably is all success. kind of come over there, unwrap the baby, >> you know, release release the Kraken, so to speak. >> Yeah. >> The the release the toddler. Um, Tenzen, you're up. >> Where did you Oh, you're still sort of next to the ghost. >> I'm trying not to incur her wrath. Um uh she doesn't seem to be paying much attention to you. >> Yes. But is she moving towards Iggy? >> No, she's moving uh Well, 00:58:52 >> she's looking at him. >> She's looking at Iggy. Yeah. But is she still she's still moving towards >> towards the the nursery? Yeah. >> Towards Durst. >> Um can I move through these spaces here then without >> uh theoretically that would provoke I mean yes. >> Well then I I don't want to provoke her. I'm just going to >> Well, I moved away from her and she didn't hit me, right? Because I was like here I think. >> Yeah. You moved away. That would have 00:59:24 provoked too. Yeah. Well, I >> Oh, that would have provoked. Okay. Uh, then I I'm going to move over here to Iggy. I'm gonna step by trying to be >> kind of slither by. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. She does not attack you. Uh, she doesn't even seem to look at you. In fact, as ev uh um you know, her attention is once again on Mrs. Durst. >> Okay. >> And they are beginning to move again. and they're sort of struggling backwards towards the nursery. But it's the baby's 00:59:58 turn. Uh the baby >> the baby the baby takes one action to completely remove the the wrappings which just fall away. >> Uh it takes another action to stand up on the bed in sort of like a weird kind of like way. And then its third action is to leap and attack Gruda. >> This is terrifying. >> Baseball the baby. Uh, >> got to go deep with that baby. >> All right. >> This is absolut crazy. >> Hold on. I got to write that. >> You got to go deep with that baby. 01:00:36 That's shirt. That's shirt. That's shirtw worthy right there. >> Uh, all right. So, it attacks. Hold on. It is going to attack you. Okay. >> Um, and rolls a 26 to 10. At least it's not a crit, right? Also, >> yeah, no kidding. Uh, what what's your AC? >> 17. >> 17. So, it's not quite a crit, but it's definitely a hit. Um, and uh, so it it's it it reaches out. All right. So, a couple of things happen. One, one of its little scrabbly little claw hands grabs 01:01:14 on to you and hooks on. So, now it's attached to you. Uh, the other one kind of balls up into a fist and punches you really hard in the eye, like right above the eye. The worst part is when it punches you, you get some of like whatever goo is on it on you. So now you've got a big smear of this sort of like goo on your head and it's sort of dripping down into your eyebrows. You can smell it. Uh, it's it's it's repugnant. Uh, probably Kurugawa, you probably see Kugilda going, "Ew." You know, kind of 01:01:48 >> not in my beard. >> Not in my beard. Uh, >> I know, right? >> It does. Let's see what's the damage on this thing. Uh, wow. Okay. It's not It's not It's a baby, so it's not going to kill you. Uh, it's not huge huge amounts of damage, but um it's something. So, the punch to the dome max damage. So it does five points of damage. You you you are going to first first of all definitely tomorrow black eye like a black eye. >> Um >> how am I going to explain that? 01:02:23 >> Well, you're going to be back at the Blue Water Inn tomorrow morning with a with a you know with a half a steak on your eyeball, you know, a glass of ale and the owner's going to be like, "What happened?" And you're like, >> "A baby? >> I got into a fight with a baby." >> All right. So that's the baby's turn. The ghost continues. All right. So, it's going to do a couple of things. >> Uh, so it's going to push back towards the 01:02:56 uh towards the thing. It's Yeah, they're moving past Grug Gilda. >> Gilda has a ugly repugnant baby attached. Yeah, it's got like a hold of of of her like armor. Uh, and it's like punching her in the eye. You just saw it. I mean, you guys were on the other side of the room and you heard that baby fist impact on her head. I mean, it was like, wow, that baby can hit. >> Um, auda, you're just like, did that baby just smack the [ __ ] out of Grill? Yours was you're a little astonished, 01:03:31 but the ghost seems to be pushing back. Um, I need that said, >> Akudagawa, you probably see her, the ghost who is now redoubled her efforts against the Durst thing, >> right? >> Sort of sort of look back at Iggy >> and her eyes just glow bright red for a second. No one else, I think, would see this. Uh, Iggy, I need you to make a reflex save. >> Oh my. But no one's near me. >> Oh. Oh no. >> Uhoh. >> Did she cast a spell at John? Do I remember correctly? 01:04:20 >> Uh, she did try to fear him. Yeah. All right. A 10 is not good enough. You feel yourself bodily lifted off. lifted off the ground and smashed into the chimney. Uh you take >> uh hard uh you take five points of bludgeoning damage uh mostly from the impact to the chimney. Uh you can almost hear the mortar and the board, you know, and the bricks of the chimney sort of crunch backwards. That's how you just sort of like lift it up and like boom, right into that chimney. Um with a 10 01:04:52 also, you do not stay on your feet. So, you end up uh sliding down the chimney. Uh it's just a single thing. Uh and you find yourself sitting down on the ground, >> man. >> So, I'm going to twist you so that you you can see that you're uh you're sort of technically you're sitting down. You're prone. Technically, it knocks I mean you it hit you so hard it feels like it knocked the wind out of you. >> Okay. >> Akudagawa. And there was no sound. Akuda, you're the only one who saw these 01:05:25 sort of flashing red eyes. >> Okay. Um uh you know, somewhere somewhere there's a blue oyster cult song about this scenario. >> Almost certainly fully describes everything that's been happening in this room is I'm sure it's an a bo song somewhere. Anyway, um I don't know. Uh um I'm trying to think about this. >> In the distance, somewhere in the bowels of the planet, you hear the unmaking mistakable sound of cowbell. >> That's right. >> Yeah. Um so 01:06:12 I uh have no clue what to do. Um so um You could help groom Hilda with the uh angry baby, >> I think. Well, okay. Um my my colleague Brun Hilda is being assaulted by a >> baby. Baby, >> I mean, there's really no question to it. She's being assaulted by that baby. >> I mean, you couldn't mistake it for anything else. The baby is literally punching her in the head. got hanging on to her beard and just >> not the beard. >> That's how I bring beauty into the 01:06:59 world. >> Right. >> Um then okay with a um um great cry of baby unhand that dwarf. >> Baby unhand that dwarf. >> I can't write fast enough. Stop it. still writing. That's how I bring beauty into this world. >> Well, I will sail across the room over their heads. I want to land here and I want to backstab the >> You're taking precision damage on the baby. Okay. Uh all right. First things first, uh acrobatics check to leap over Grildilda. It's not really a high jump, 01:07:45 more of a a precision jump. So >> that's fine. Acrobatics check, >> please. >> Natural one. All right. Uh, you go to leap over Grildilda, you slip in the dust, and you end up smacking into the back of Gruggilda. Uh, hard too. Grugga, you find yourself forward, thrown forward as the goblin smashes into you. Well, I don't know if you So, I need a reflex from Gilda to keep from falling forward onto the bed. Reflex I don't think is my best thing. >> 12. All right. You do manage to stand up 01:08:24 and you're staggered forward. The baby. Let's All right. Now I got to roll reflex save for the baby. Uh to see if he can hold on. Um this is re man. He is he is a tough baby. Uh what is your reflex? Okay. Yeah. He's got a better reflex bonus than probably everybody here. >> But he rolls a 13. So he He um he's a baby, so it's going to be he's not he's not really super in control of his muscles and things like he's going to fly off. He flies off and onto the bed, bounces a couple of times, and then 01:09:00 sort of like whirls around and begins moving back towards you. That's awesome. This So, the baby is off. Uh, but he's still heading towards you. >> Crazy. >> And the the younger ghost is completely disregarding the baby. >> Complet as if it's not even happening. >> Yeah. >> All right. Hold on. I got to paste this. Uh, okay. All right. Yeah. So, uh, that ghost is still fighting Durst into into the other towards the other room. Uh, all right. That was your first action. 01:09:41 What are you going to do with your next two actions? I'm I'm frankly I can't wait to see. >> That's not okay. >> Well, um I I I'm going to um Have I fallen down? >> No. No. You just smashed into the back of Grildilda and sort of like >> I'm thinking of those like things that sometimes you see on people's desks with the balls like clock into each other. So you glock into the back of Grildilda. Grillilda >> knocks into the baby. The baby goes fly. 01:10:07 >> Great. I planned that all along. There was a moment where Tenzen was like, "Oh, baby." >> Okay. Um, I'm going to uh beg Brun Hilda's pardon. Um, >> reaction. I I still want to try to backstab that maybe. >> Okay. So, you're like, which way are you going to go? Are you like going to go around to the south of Gruggela or are you going to go running past the ghost? >> Well, you know what? Um, I I have too much respect for M. Bruna to ever again 01:10:42 vault over her without first um uh taliho or or uh ali oop or some warning like that. So I I I beg your pardon. Um, I was actually trying to just backstab a but a but um but sometimes in the course of doing my job I screw up. So >> how how could we even expect the mutant baby? >> No one expects a mutant baby. I don't want to run near the the ghost though because what if the ghost doesn't like does >> Groom Hilda and Tendon have both moved past her without her. She's fixated on 01:11:33 uh the other ghost, >> right? >> Okay. >> And Iggy. >> Um goblins don't like ghosts, you know. So look, can I go to here? Can I What's there? >> Uh, a nightstand. >> Yeah, that's a like a nightstand like a table. >> Oh, great. You know what? Can I jump onto that then jump on for first to here then to here then I will jump down to here >> just to leap on the onto the you. Okay. Yeah, absolutely. You could do that. >> Great. All right. Do I need to roll and 01:12:08 then? >> No. No. It'll be fine. >> Disastrous uh >> acrobatics now. >> Uh acrobatics check. I I I will move to about right there. >> Okay. >> And you get there and you now you have a third action. So that the first action was smashing into Guggela. The second one is moving on to the bed. Now you have a third one. You can make an attack if you want. You can attack the baby. >> I I guess I'm going to use my I'm going to take my dog slicer and attack the baby. 01:12:38 >> Okay. Uh go for it. Attack the baby. >> Here we go. All right. And the dog slicer 20. 20. That is a hit. You hit the baby. Uh so nine points of damage to the baby. You could feel your dog slicer sort of >> Mhm. >> into the into the thing. >> Less is it 10 more than what the baby's armor class is, isn't it? >> It is not not even >> You'd be you'd be shocked and dismayed at how high this >> what the armor class of the baby is. >> Yeah. 01:13:08 >> A speedy little guy. That's what it is. It's all decks bonuses is he's unarmored uh as far as you can tell. But um All right. Yeah. You hit the baby. Let me The feeling you get when your dog slicer hits the baby. You've struck things with your dog slicer before. >> Live things, enemies, other goblins, enemies of the tribe, uh various kinds of urban acosters. >> Uh this does not feel like that. Underneath everything that you've ever hit before is like bones, right? You hit them and Yeah. You 01:13:40 hit the flesh. Ow. Blood squirts out, but you it stops, right? There's a bone underneath that stops the forward motion of the thing. In this case, it's like stabbing a balloon full of jell-o. >> Yeah. >> Dog slicer just kind of goes in, comes back out. It's covered with this goo. There's no blood or anything. If anything, what comes out of the inside of the baby is sort of like it looks like mud kind of. I wonder what's going on here. >> The baby seems I mean most people are like you ow you 01:14:18 stabbed me. You know that kind of thing. >> Uh the baby doesn't seem to care. >> It shows no pain reaction other than the fact that you've just run it essentially run it through with a dog slicer. >> Wow. Okay. Um >> so it didn't take any damage. >> It did. >> Oh, >> it took damage. It's just it's it's not a pain recept. >> Yeah, it It's not reacting. It doesn't It's not slowing down. Uh although it does seem like it has a new target. 01:14:45 >> Well, um I mean, is this thing a construct? >> Uh no. If anything, it's the opposite of a construct. It gives no indication that it's made of metal or any sort of any sort of object type of stuff. Constructs historically are made of like metal or wood. They're gollums, you know, that kind of thing. This is definitely well flesh in quotes. >> Okay. Um >> fleshy >> uh could I mean does it seem like it's like um you said it's like a like I mean um I have no knowledge of the 01:15:30 occult >> as a goblin. Um I I I have no clue what this is. I have a little bit of a nature skill. Could I roll that? Sure. >> You know, cuz um goblins do have a nature component in in Pathfinder 2, it turns out. So, um >> absolutely. That's not much. >> An eight. Yeah, it's not that's not great. You've never seen anything like this before. And certainly goo babies is not something that happens to gobblets quite often. >> Goo babies. >> Goo babies tonight. Also I I should 01:16:08 just, you know, quit while I'm behind. Boy. Okay. >> All right. That was your third action though. It was a successful third action, but uh a third action nonetheless. So >> Iggy's up. Iggy, you are on the ground. You've had the wind knocked out of you because something threw you against the the the stones of the >> Oh, I know who threw me against the wall. Um, do I sense that the baby is undead? Would I guess that they're undead? >> Do you have an undead sense or it 01:16:38 >> Well, it's certainly >> No, not like a spell, but given like it existed. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, possibly. >> I say Iggy, I think it was the baby who threw you. >> Well, regardless, I'm gonna make the baby the the target. Um, I'm gonna cast um, hold on. Spells. What's the name of it? And the and the demilane. The spells don't work. But I'll try again. Disrupt undead. >> I'm really dis I'm really I'm really I'm really uh disappointed in demil that had 01:17:15 so much promise and it turns out to be >> Yeah. So it has this cast button. I'm going to click it. >> Okay. >> Nothing's going to happen. But nothing happened. I can copy and paste. So basically, um, the target must attempt a basic fortitude save. >> Fort save. All right. Can do. We can do a fort save. It has pretty good fort, I tell you. What's the DC? Do we know the DC? >> Um, I I should should be on my character sheet here. Hold on. I got to find it. 01:17:46 >> All right. Here's my Here's my fort. Save >> 20. Oh jeez. I think you made it. Yeah. >> Okay. >> It has no >> crazy baby, right? >> Crazy baby, >> right? It's like >> How do I know my DC? I thought it was on here. >> Uh DC for spells. Hold on a second. I'll >> It's Isn't it like eight plus proficiency plus mod? >> Yeah, there's a formula. I'll have it in a minute. Uh gosh, I don't like archive of Nethus. 01:18:26 It's such a It's such a turd. >> Oh, it's hard to find anything on there. >> It is. >> I wish they had a I wish they they have an SRD and it's not bad, but it's >> Oh, sorry, Les. It does say it right here on the spell. It was a 17. You made it. >> 17. All right, I made it. >> And it's all or nothing, right? There's no partial effect. >> Let me reread it just in case. Okay. If the creature critically fails. Yeah, that's it. So, nothing. 01:18:54 >> Okay. Uh, all right. Cool. Uh, so that's your first action. You're doing that from a sitting position, right? You haven't moved. >> Yeah. Now, that's two actions for the spell. >> You still have a third. >> So, I'm going to crawl away. I'm not going to get up. I'm gonna move away. >> Okay. Crawling is half speed. >> So, yeah, I'm only going to go about this far. >> All right. crawl over Tenzen's feet. >> Yep. And and I figure I stay on the 01:19:20 ground, so I'm below the bed. >> Uh yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's not a huge bed, but yeah, you're definitely um below that. The the the baby's looking at uh Akuragawa, so um yeah, there's not much going on there. So, all right, that is it for you. Next round, Grugilda. >> Okay. All right. I tried to be nice to the baby. Hey, >> never pays off being nice. >> So, I want to move to flank and I don't know if that means I'm moving through if I have to do something special to move 01:19:55 through uh Madame Durst Dunst. >> I'm assum I'm assume you're moving past rather than uh like through here, I guess. Where's the >> Yeah, ideally I would be flanking. So, >> like I'm assuming you're kind of moving through here as opposed to >> Yeah. Yeah. Like well here I don't know if I can go from this spot to this spot. >> You can >> that's five 10 15 I think to get there. So I I have the movement but I just didn't know if I 01:20:28 >> Yeah, you can slip through there and and again the ghost does not uh uh look to seek an attack of opportunity there >> just because I don't know this baby is. And then uh second action twohanded hold my sword and third action is strike. Okay, >> because you know this is not right. Okay, sorry. >> Definitely not right. Uh oh, it's a natural 20. That's a crit. So, five damage plus 20 >> uh on the baby plus rage of three. >> No, I'm not raging. See, I never rage. 01:21:03 >> Oh, you're not raged. You never rage. >> And I didn't have the actions. I had to move and I had to pull my sword so I couldn't rage. So, there's no rage damage. >> All right. your sword comes down onto the baby uh and splits essentially cuts the baby in half. You just like and it just two pieces of baby just kind of like roll aside. Uh the baby lets out a like kind of noise. Uh which is even more disgusting than my representation of it. Uh, and then you as you as you you and a 01:21:35 Kudagawa stand there and watch as the baby sort of dissolves and it dissolves into the covers of the bed and into the bed itself. It's like >> the bed. >> There's nothing on the top of the covers anymore. No goo or anything like that. You have some goo and your your eye socket is sort of reening up nicely and you have some some goo on you. Your akuda, your dog slicer is covered in this goo, but there's none on the top of the bed. It's just kind of like, it's almost as if it just like got sucked 01:22:09 down into the bed. >> Oh jeez. >> Well, >> dang. >> And she pointed at the bed earlier when she wrote and pointed at the bed. >> Yeah, you should check out the bed for sure. >> Is the bed cursed? Is it >> Well, it's not magical, right? Didn't >> Yeah, it wasn't showing magical and we I looked under the bed and didn't see anything. But we haven't pulled the blankets back. >> Yeah. >> Wait a minute. >> Okay. >> Wait a minute. 01:22:38 >> Uh, all right. Uh, Gilda, you still have another action left. I'm I'm assuming that you can spend it watching the the baby's halves get sucked into the bed. >> No, I had to. I moved and I had to pull my >> draw. Okay. Yep. All right. So, yeah, that's your three. All right, >> Tenzen. You just saw Gruggu chop a baby in half. I'm very impressed. >> I don't know if this is the party you signed up to be in. >> Uh, I am going to move right up next to 01:23:11 the bed. >> Okay. >> And pull those covers back. >> Akuragawa, make a reflex safe. >> Oh, great. >> Cuz you're standing on the bed. >> Oh, great. as tenants like like he's like he's taking a tablecloth out from under the the >> save go >> natural one. >> Oh my god two ones tonight. >> Give me a reflex. Oh no. All right. So natural one on the reflex safe. So Tenzen reaches up, grabs the bed close and yanks hard. You go flying backwards 01:23:46 off the bed uh and land uh on the ground prone uh uh as you fall back. >> Okay. >> Weirdly, at this point, you sort of turn your head and you're like, "Ooh, that hurt." You look over and under the bed >> Yeah. >> through the dust >> Uhhuh. >> you see Iggy also crawling around on the floor. And for a moment your eyes meet >> and there's build a pillow. >> There's a pulpable sense of shame on both of your parts for Yeah. Like this 01:24:19 isn't going as well as we hoped kind of thing. >> All right. Tens and you take the uh you grab the the the things auda goes flying but you pull it back and underneath uh you see the the sheets of the bed. Uh, and the first thing you notice is that there are uh completely invisible from the top when the cover's on, but underneath you see that there are two dark stains on the sheet. One larger, one smaller, right next to each other on the sheet. That yeasty bready smell that Ugilda smelled when the baby attacked her just 01:25:02 comes comes up at you. It's very it's unpleasant but it's a very sort of malty yeasty smell. Um give me do you have knowledge medical? >> I do have uh >> or so. So So what do they call it? >> Skills medicine in my skills. >> Give me a medicine check. >> Uh straight medicine. Yeah. >> 19. >> 19. All right. You remember this from uh your time back amongst the orcs of your people. Uh and you remember that there was a huge famine one year. Uh the crops 01:25:35 didn't rise. Raiding produced no food. Uh and um it was difficult. Every everyone in the tribe was going hungry. This is many years ago. Uh this yeasty smell was the smell that people began to give off when they were close to starvation. And you remember it vividly because there were several of the tribal elders uh who voluntarily gave up eating so that the young ones could have what little food there was. And before they passed away into the great beyond, you remember this smell emanating from their 01:26:09 from their huts. It's the smell of starvation. Brings back a lot of a lot of not very good memories for you. >> Wow. >> Okay. So, this is what the ghost may have been pointing at was where she passed and the baby passed. >> Well, they starved or they did star. >> Well, she looks like she starved. >> Yeah, she's very So, the ghost the ghost girl is very skinny looking, very sort of drawn. >> It's weird because the >> the baby didn't look starved. The baby 01:26:43 looked hungry. The vellum letter said the baby was still born. Maybe the >> Yeah. Well, you could be lying. >> He was an evil guy. I could He could lie. >> Who? >> Strad. >> Yeah. >> No, no, I meant I meant Durst. Maybe. >> No, the vellum was from Strad. >> Strad was the one writing it >> talking to I don't know if it was Mrs. Durst or Mr. Durst. I think he was Mr. Durst. >> Seemed like M Mr. Durst because you said you you >> husband to a crazy person. 01:27:25 >> Yeah. >> Father to a stillborn child. Something like that. >> Yeah. >> And and took took refuge in the arms of another woman. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. Which was the nanny. >> Yeah. >> She >> um >> the tail is old as time. >> All right. Uh, so Tenzen, are you doing anything else? >> Not yet. I'm waiting for the ghost to keep moving into the other room. >> All right. Yeah. So, in this case, it's the ghost turn. And basically, the go 01:27:54 that's exactly what the ghost does. Uh she's you can still see that the ghost is kind of like you know kind of like uh silently screaming at this at this um this uh Lady Durst figure who is again very sort of like it's almost as if she's in slow motion as she the the nanny ghost is not in slow motion. Lady Durst sort of is, but in this case, they fall backwards. Not fall, but they end up moving into uh into the nursery. >> And Gilda, get me a um give me a perception check. 01:28:33 >> Iggy. Um >> uh Grug. Okay. 20. As you as you look, it's almost as if the moment that they enter the nursery, it's like the nursery is enveloped in darkness and you can't see them anymore. >> Oh. Huh. That's wacky. >> Iggy, can you check the the outline of the body on the bed to see if it's magical? Yes, but that's not a free action. Oh, okay. >> Uh, Akudagawa, it's your turn. >> Yes, sir. Jeez. Um, >> jump back up. >> I'm going to try to do anything without 01:29:22 falling over. Falling over on my own butt. All right, I'm going to stand up as my first action. >> Okay. >> Um, >> we all applaud. He's back. >> Tada. >> I meant to do that. >> I will say um your goblin is back in service >> and >> we apologize for any inconvenience. >> That's right. So So wait, so this bed is like a a big undead sponge. >> Well, so so Tenzen has pulled the cover off. >> Okay. Uh the cover although dusty had no 01:30:05 stains or anything on it. It just looked like a made bed, right? The tensson has yanked the cover off and underneath on the sheets you can see two large sort of dark stains. They don't look like blood. Uh they don't look like blood stains. They're but they're sort of fluids maybe. Um but there's two two stains. One is a larger one uh which is about person sized and the other one is a smaller one about baby sized. Okay. >> But it's but they're irregular. They're 01:30:34 not in any sort of shape. It's more like a sort of just an oval stain. >> I got it. Okay. So, so do do I think that this is the uh perhaps where lay the uh recently deceased of the baby and her car character deceased? Yes. Recently, probably not. The stains look old. Uh, as old as anything else that you found in this house. Um, uh, they look like they've been there a long time and undisturbed for a long time, frankly. >> I understand. Okay, I got it. I got it. Good. >> What you don't see is two halves of a 01:31:24 baby >> which was on top of the bed and then kind of got sucked into the bed and now is completely gone. >> Great. Um, is there more bed? Is there more to the bed? >> Uh, no. It just looks like I mean there's the sheets are on top of it. There's a couple of like sort of pillows that are uh, you know, not very thick. >> Mattress. >> There's a mattress underneath. Sure. >> I'm going to start to to pull the mattress off >> or cut it open. >> Okay. You know what? Sure. You know 01:31:58 what? Less I'm going to do something crazy cuz I'm a goblin. I'm going to jump on the bed again. >> Gotcha. All right, Tensson, do that thing. >> Do that thing you like to do. Take the sheets this time. >> The sheets and I'm going to take my dog slicer. I'm going to slice the bed >> through. All right. So, you're going to slice through the m sheets into the mattress and start tearing that up. >> Yeah. >> All right. So, you slice in there. Uh, 01:32:26 and it it comes apart. The sheets are ancient, right? I mean, they're old and they're not very thick. Uh, there's no covering sheet. You get the mattress right away. And it's a standard sort of straw ticking mattress. Once you cut into the into the container, you open it up and the smell of of, you know, sort of old straw uh and and and and uh rushes comes comes comes up out of the out of this. Essentially, it's just a bag. Uh the straw is old. It's almost it doesn't have any of the like yellow 01:32:56 color that you would normally see in straw. It's all gray. Um, it's been here a long time, but you do see that whatever as you pull some pieces of straw out and kind of examine them, you do notice that there the stains that were on the sheet are also on the uh on the mattress. And to a lesser a far lesser extent, you can see some of the straw that you pulled out is discolored uh in ways that seem reasonable to assume that whatever made the stains on the sheet dripped down or or leaked down, not only into the top of the 01:33:29 mattress, but into the mattress itself. >> What you don't find is any creatures in the mattress other than um potentially a flea or two. Um there's there's there's nothing in there. There's no bones or anything in there, at least as far as you could tell. >> That's fine. I got a feeling that there's a clue in the nursery across the hall or um Wait, so is this room the nursery? >> It is. Yeah. >> Okay. Um are we still in combat? >> Well, technically no. There's nothing to 01:34:03 fight, >> right? Uh, but I'm gonna I figured I'd run out the round and you go and then and then Iggy just to let people finish up what they were going to do and then we would drop out of uh Totally. >> Unless something else happens. >> Um, you know what? No. Um, I'm gonna uh um >> You never know. >> Wins. >> I'm gonna um chill out. I'm gonna hop back down to here off the bed. Um, and I'm going to just be looking around ready for whatever comes next. Um, I I got a 01:34:40 feeling there's good going to be some more clues in the nursery. >> Uh, you could check the cupboard. I'm trying to see, you know, I'm trying to figure out where her body might be. Of course, they could have long gotten rid of it. No, I think it was absorbed into the mattress just like the baby's body was. >> Or well, that that could be the fluids. Or >> is she buried under the bed >> in the floorboard? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. So, Iggy will tell you 01:35:16 there's nothing. >> We don't hear you unless you're on mute. You're on mute. >> Well, am I on mute? >> Sorry about that. No, >> I on mute. >> I was on mute. would tell you there's nothing magical about the bed. There's nothing invisible or hidden in the bed. >> In the bed, but it could be in the floorboard. >> So, you want to check the floorboards. Go ahead. However, what he can tell you is the mirror is very magical and ne necromatic, which means it's probably 01:35:44 the the source of power for the ghost. I don't know if you want to do anything about that or not, but he would tell you that. The other thing he'd mentioned is perhaps when she was pointing at the bed, she was actually pointing over at this area here where there is a door. >> Oh, yeah. We haven't checked that room yet. >> Well, technically, you can you can actually see out there. Um, it's uh it's a balcony. It goes outside. You can see that some of the doors are like are 01:36:12 glass. Uh, and you can see it's like a balcony area. There's a little railing around it. >> Okay. How about now? >> All right. So, yeah, it's a uh it's a little it's a little balcony on the third floor that sort of overlooks the front of the house. So, south is the front of the house. >> The same area as that entryway porch. >> The same. >> Yeah, it's above it. >> But then >> it's like a two floors above it. >> If she were locked, she could have 01:36:43 >> That's weird. >> Yeah. On my turn. Unless I would have gotten up and walked out there. >> Okay. Okay. Walked out to uh to the patio. >> Yeah. >> If you do, you might want to be careful. Remember, we had prying eyes last time. >> Yeah. >> All right. So, you walk out there. >> See? >> All right. Uh you take a look around. Uh there doesn't seem to be anything on the balcony itself. Uh there's a small wooden railing that's about 2 feet high. 01:37:13 Uh that would be specifically good for uh I mean you could easily throw yourself over it if you wanted to take a take a quick dive down to the down to the ground. Um it's raining now outside. Um but you can also see give me a quick perception check perception. This should be so easy and it's so hard. >> I'm sorry about recommending deming plane to you people. Uh 14. All right. So, it takes a minute and it's hard to see in the um in the uh >> rain. >> In the rain. Um let me Why is that doing 01:38:04 this so difficult? Uh, okay. Um, all right. So, here's here's the Durst house, right? There's just like this little road that kind of kind of goes out this way. Uh, you remember when Gru Kilda said that she saw a hooded figure in black standing in the street staring up at the thing and then that figure disappeared? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> If you look down the street sort of uh in this in this direction sort of like right about to there. Uh, now you see there's nobody else on the street and 01:38:43 it's raining. So, it's about mid-afternoon. It's raining. It's very It's very dim. Uh, it's hard to see, but you see what looks to be Now there are two standing right next to each other. They're farther away than they were before. Um, but they're obviously um observing the house and they're just standing next to each other. They're not moving. It doesn't look like they're talking. Um, it's just two people in hooded cloaks. One does seem the one thing you can tell 01:39:11 is one does seem to be taller than the other. Um, but that's as much detail as you can make out at this distance and the fact that they're >> considering everything else. Do they seem to notice that I stepped out? >> Uh, they are looking at the they're they to your eyes they are definitely looking at the building. Um, you can't tell from here. Yeah. they're if they've seen you specifically or not, but they're definitely just standing there watching. >> Okay, then I'll go back inside. 01:39:41 >> Okay. All right. There we go. And we're back. Okay. Uh All right. And at that point, we will go ahead and fall out of an ish. Um >> is the room still cold? >> It is definitely although it's not it's not breath breath frostingly cold. I mean, you could you could It's still chilly. Uh certainly chillier than you were used to, but when >> when Gruggilda came in with the uh with the bundle, um the the temperature dropped very quickly. Now, it seems to have crawled 01:40:23 back up to It's still cold in here. Uh it's just not that icy cold that that happened right at that point. >> What's Failen doing? Failing looks like she got something on her mind. Um, she's just uh looking into the nursery again using her sonic. >> Okay. >> Uh, go ahead and give me a perception check. >> Familiar. >> Hey, better at doing this. >> You are getting better. Uh, all right. So, she sonics around. You're making that bat noises and weirding everybody 01:40:59 out. Um, She doesn't see any ghosts. Uh, and as she looks over at the changing station, it looks like it's covered with some sort of black curtain that has fallen away from the wall. >> Can I go to here then and do a detect magic on the changing station? >> Sure, >> then I'll do that. >> All right. Detect magic. Um, it does radiate magic, but it's not like a specific magic. Like a spell is a specific kind of magic, right? This radiates a more diffused, more amorphous 01:41:40 kind of magic. It's definitely necromancy, though. >> Oh, boy. >> I let the team know that. >> Okay, >> thank you. Can I go in there and look for traps? >> Sure. >> Or doors or gadgets or who's the what this is? So, I'll go there. >> Gadgets of plenty. >> Sure. Give us a perception. Look around. There's really not a ton of stuff in here. >> Uh Oh, right. Great percentage check. All right. So, um yeah, you see a a sort of barebones rocking chair uh in the 01:42:11 corner uh covered in dust. You see a changing st table uh what is obviously sort of a baby changing station in the far end of the room. >> Yeah. >> Uh and it's just sort of like it's old. It's it's it's kind of beat up. There's some other things kind of around the room. There's like a stack of like cloths which were probably diapers or some things scattered about. But the baby station, it did have it looked like at some point because you can see the thing on the wall. There's like a a rail 01:42:38 or a or a curtain rod because it looks like there was once a curtain that could be sort of pulled over the baby station or pulled around whoever was working at the baby station. Okay. >> That curtain has fallen down from that rod and now sort of covers the baby station itself. Okay, great. Um, I'm going to uh lift the curtain up and >> so you sort of pull that cover off. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. >> All right. Lying in the middle of the baby changing station is a small I hate 01:43:08 to say it babyshaped bundle >> of black cloth and it looks like it's very uh uh sort of deafly put together. Somebody who knew how to wrap up a baby wrapped up this. But it's just a it's just a a a almost a tube of cloth that's just sort of strapped up and laying in the in the in the baby in the top of the baby changing station >> like the one Groom Hill came out with earlier. >> Yeah. Almost almost exactly like that. >> Should we repeat that catastrophe? 01:43:38 >> Well, I was going to say, is this thing resetting itself? >> Yeah. >> Right. I think we destroy the mirror. Um, I'm going to uh uh reattach the curtain to the framework. >> You kind of like hook it back up to the curtain rod. >> Yeah. You just, you know, it's it's about respect, you know. >> Yeah. It's Yeah. You can pull it up and sort of like it's it's going to take you a hot minute to sort of like get it up. There's little hooks and things like 01:44:06 that. Um, you're not sure. Some of the holes in the curtain um are sort of ripped out, so you can't rehook every single one. It looks like maybe it was pulled down as opposed to unhooked, >> but there's enough. And I mean, in some cases, you take out a little dag, you know, maybe a dagger and sort of punch a new hole in there, that kind of stuff. And yeah, ultimately after a couple, you know, after a minute or so, you get get it hooked up and it and it does. It kind of like comes swooping around. It's sort 01:44:30 of like a U-shaped thing. And you could actually um you could actually pull it around so that it closes off or partially closes off the area around the baby chasing station. Okay, I'm actually going to pull it fully open to one side. And um do I see anything happening with the figure in the crib? The >> the burrito. >> The Yes, >> burrito. >> Yeah, the burrito. I mean, it's just sitting there. Uh and it looks like it's got a lot of dust on it. Looks like it's 01:45:07 been sitting there a long time. >> Is it moving at all? >> It's not moving >> in that in that >> I believe in that previous room that >> where the body the skeleton body was in front of the chest. >> Yeah. >> Uh downstairs on the second floor. >> The second floor. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> We found four scrolls. >> Um correct. One was one was remove curse, one's protection from poison, detect illusion, and lesser restoration. >> Yes. We those those scroll spells have 01:45:40 been revised. Yeah. Dan, you want to talk about that? So, what I >> none of those spells are apparently in Pathfinder 2, so we had to work on that. >> I was going to say >> it was only three. >> Uh, no, it was four. >> What was the fourth one? >> Uh, one was detect illusions, >> one was remove, >> which is now see invisibility, >> uh, protection from poison and lesser restoration. >> Right. That's >> all I was gonna say is the remove curse 01:46:07 one. If you cast it on the mirror, then we attack it. >> Huh. >> I don't know. I mean, I kind of think we just attack >> I didn't have a remove curse scroll in my head. >> There were four scrolls and uh when I wrote it down and that was the the four that were there. >> I had the three you just mentioned, but I didn't have a remove curse. >> Remove curse was the first one. Uh maybe that you just missed it, but yeah, looking back it's in there. >> Okay. 01:46:42 Well, I don't not sure remove curse exists either. Let >> it does. >> Oh, yay. >> That is a fourth level necromancy spell in the divine and occult traditions. And >> so it doesn't matter. We can't cast it. >> It takes 10 minutes to cast. Yeah. No, I mean um so casting Go ahead. Sorry. >> You have to No, no, I'm sorry. Do you have to be a cleric to use it? >> Uh, divine and a cult tradition. So, divine is obviously clerical spells, that kind of stuff. A cult would be like 01:47:10 witch. >> Um, so a witch might have a it's in both it's in both spell traditions. So yeah, they're a little bit more fluid in Pathfinder 2 about who can cast what, but um yeah, there's I've had I my uh my wizard in um in my in the campaign that I played, a Pathfinder who can't play that I played with Steve. Um he had spells from all of the major traditions, both divine, arcane, and occult. Um and I did that. There are feats you can get uh that allow you to sort of take spells 01:47:43 in other places. >> Wow. >> Right. It's pretty cool. >> But I'm a primal witch, not a a cult witch. >> Gotcha. Okay. >> Plus, it's too high level. We We would fail anyway. >> That's a really fascinating character, and I I I wish to know more at some point, maybe over drinks at the local pub after we clear out this haunted house. >> Yes. Well, then that that would be the only thing then is like say attack the mirror and and destroy it. >> Yeah. Oh, by the way, it doesn't remove 01:48:21 curses from items. It only removes the effect of the curse >> on the person. >> Oh. Oh, >> well, yeah. I guess you could have Could you cast it on the ghost? >> Is it on >> not that >> that might have worked >> or banishment? You know, if you banish >> We're trying not to banish her and hurt her. >> We're trying just >> banish doesn't hurt him. That just lets them go to rest. Finally, >> it sends them to the plane that they 01:48:52 are from. >> Yeah, but she's from this plane. >> Oh, I thought ghosts were like from the ethereal plane. >> Yeah. Well, she was she was on this plane when she became a ghost. >> Yeah. >> So, she's technically from this plane. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> But is this plane the prime material plane? You guys don't know. Remember when you guys were first talking with Mousse? >> He was saying, "Look, I found a new plane that nobody has exploited yet." 01:49:21 >> Oh, that's true. >> But she she lived in this house. >> She lived Yeah, she >> lived in this house. That's the only reason I'm saying she's from this plane. >> Yeah, it's reasonable to assume that she's from here. From Bovia. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> All right. What next? >> Hilda's ready to smash the mirror. >> Roll to attack. >> That's what I was going to say. That's the only thing left to do then is >> that's the only way I can see to free 01:49:48 her. >> All right. 17 hits. Uh does not crit. You do not crit the mirror. Uh six damage. Yeah, your sword you just clock right into it. Uh and you shatter it. Mirrors have five hit points. Um, so, uh, it's just it's a little little something to take back with you when you go, uh, into your work week. >> Um, but yeah, so you manage to kill the, uh, the old sort of glass falls out of the frame and there's a wood backing. Your sword kind of pls into that wood and splinters it a little bit. Uh the 01:50:22 the the glass as you were looking into it has that sort of you know how old mirrors get that sort of stained look around the edges where it discolors the silver underneath discolors >> on the back. >> Yeah. The tarnishing. Uh this mirror has that. The glass has that and you can see it just kind of like falls down to the ground in a bunch of pieces. So seven years of bad luck for >> Does it still show magic? Yeah, I'll I'll I can do a detect magic again. >> Okay. The frame, the mirrors, the wooden 01:50:57 parts of the mirror do not radiate magic, but the pile of broken silvered glass underneath still radiates a bit of necromancy magic, >> but not as strong as before. >> Hard to tell. It still has that same diffuse quality. It's not like a pin prick of light. It's like a general glow. I can generate um again with a can trap um some pretty hot flames. >> Okay. >> Can I try melting the glass? >> Well, absolutely. >> Why don't we just throw it out a window? 01:51:33 Well, we could also wrap the glass in the sort of stained Did we check if the mattress is stained or just the mattress? >> The sheets, mattress, and even there's some some of whatever fluid is staining those things got into the mattress itself into the ticket. >> And we could we could burn it like like >> uh not in the house. >> No, no, not in the house. We could we could maybe take it to the like outside to a courtyard or something, but I guess that's not really on the DL, 01:52:03 >> but you know, >> it's still Yeah, it's still daytime. >> Yeah, it's it's um you know, like Well, we could bury it, too. That's >> Well, that's I was going to say we can separate the glass. >> Yes. >> Put it in different places. >> Um >> take some of it and just throw it out the window. >> Yeah. I mean, it would potentially diffuse the focus. >> Yeah, I'm just saying push it all away. Put it in different locations. 01:52:34 >> Okay. >> Is that what you guys want to do? >> Yeah, we'll start gathering it up to get rid of it. >> Wrap it in some of those disgusting sheets. >> What is in the cabinet? The cabinet is uh you open up the cabinet and it is mostly stocked with um fairly threadbear women's clothing. >> Um various kinds of clothing and uh you know uh frocks and whatnot. Um whatever whatever women wear. Uh but it's not it's not high quality and it's just sort 01:53:04 of stacked. It's stacked very neatly. Um but beyond that it's um it's just full of clothing. >> Auda to do a quick perusal through it. Maybe she had some notes or something. >> Glad. >> Oh, yeah. Like a diary, maybe. >> Yeah, like a diary. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. >> Okay. You going to take a look through there? >> Yes, sir. I rolled a 15. >> Okay. Uh, you go through there and cunningly hidden behind some clothing is a small, obviously 01:53:34 homemade little uh like a little slide that opens up and form. There's a little void in the in the cabinet um that somebody is obviously sort of like it's not it's pretty crude actually uh that somebody sort of like carved out of there um and uh uh and you know put a lid back on it for for hiding things. It wouldn't it to your to your practiced eyewa um it certainly wouldn't stand up to a determined thief. Um, but uh if you were uh passing and not going through there, it would be it would be easy to hide 01:54:09 things in there. You slide it open and inside is a little piece of what looks to be sort of bluish cloth. Um, you know, sort of threadbear or something like that. >> Uh, and there's something in it. It's small. It's very small. Something >> very small, baby. >> Yeah, this the it would have to be very small, baby. uh like a um like a baby shrimp. Um but the the cloth is probably the size of uh a little smaller than a handkerchief. >> I see. I see. Um so so there's something 01:54:43 inside this blue cloth. >> Yeah, there's something in there. It's um uh uh Yeah, it's like I don't know, something thin. >> Okay. Um I'm going to bring us out. I'm gonna say, "Hey, Icky, uh, come take a look at this thing. Look what I found." >> All right. >> What do you think this is? >> It's just a folded up piece of cloth as far as you can tell. >> Okay. >> But is it is there something folded inside? >> Oh, you want Failen to sort of sonic it? 01:55:21 >> Well, actually, no. No. We shouldn't make poor Fine do all of our dangerous work. >> It's not open that thing up. See what's in there. >> Open it. >> Failing. Do this. Failen. >> That's right. She can do a little open it. But she'd have to put her sword down. And she feels like she learned a really important lesson. >> A valuable lesson about sword. >> She's already babies. That's well that but also don't put your sword down. 01:55:55 >> Hand it to me and I'll open it. >> All right. >> Okay. All right. >> I'll unfold it and see what it is. >> Okay. Uh there's uh um there's not much. And at first you're like, there's nothing in here. And then you open up the final fold and there's a very small like a like a small thin stick. It's obviously something from a plant because surrounding it are what look like the desiccated remains of either leaves or flower petals or something 01:56:26 like that. Uh around the stick uh and keep in mind it's maybe it's maybe 4 in long and very thin, maybe a couple of millimeters wide at its widest. Um but there's also a very thin red ribbon tied around the stick. does not radiate magic. >> Composing. >> Yeah, the the the petals, if that's what they are, are so desiccated after long years that I mean, it's hard to tell if they were had colors or even their general shape. They've kind of disintegrated around. The stick's still 01:57:00 there, though. >> But it's a stick stick, not a >> Yeah, like from a plant, >> right? >> Could be like a like a flower, like a dry that, you know. >> Yeah, >> might have been. Yeah. And it has then the stick itself has the stem has a uh has a a small piece no longer than maybe 8 in or 6 in of red ribbon thin red ribbon that has been wrapped around there and tied off. >> Um what to make of this? And do we And the ghost has gone it seems. Uh, she has not returned since going 01:57:44 with Lady Durst into the nursery. >> The baby seemed to reset. So, it could be although she doesn't have the mirror anymore maybe to be called by. Um, but I guess she could reset as well. Oh, sorry. Um, well, like I said, we want to get rid of the the um glass portions and um I'm going to go take the uh mirror frame itself. >> Okay. >> Walk over to the porch and chuck it over the side. >> You chuck it over the side. Okay. All right. So, yeah. I mean, no, nothing stops you. uh you take that sort of uh 01:58:30 uh thing and the the ground outside is over uh overrun. I mean the the the bushes and stuff like that have not been tended or anything like that. So it sort of just drops down to the side of the house and it doesn't even sort of fall with a crash. It just sort of like lands in the bushes like you know kind of like that. Uh, and just sort of you can still see it sort of like it sort of finds its way down a little bit, but the legs are sticking out of the, you know, the legs of the ear thing. So, it's just sort of 01:58:59 in the ground or in the bush really. >> Give me a quick perception check for while you're out on the balcony. The two figures. Uh, uh, Iggy, you told them about the two figures down at the end of the street, right? >> I did. Yes. >> Okay. So, this was just a minute or two ago. Uh Tenzen, as you look towards that area that Iggy pointed out, you don't see any figures, although the rain seems to have increased quite a bit. >> Sure, >> it's pouring outside. 01:59:34 >> Wow. >> But you don't see the fig any figures any anybody that looks like two figures down at the end of the street. Well, I don't know what else we might come across in this room, but I would say let's move on. I don't think anything else I can Is the temperature warming up even more? >> Uh, it's gone back. It's still cold in here. Uh, and it's gone back uh but it's gone back to the similar templ temperature as when you first entered. It's It's quite a bit chillier than the 02:00:07 outside room where the uh where the animated suit of armor attacked you guys. >> Um but it's um it's not as cold as when the the for whatever reason the um the ghost of Lady Durst came in and was attacked by the nanny's ghost. >> Right. >> At least that's at least that's who you think these two people were. >> Right. Right. Um, what do you think the the flower is what we think is the flower was something she got from Durst? >> Yeah. >> That she hid it she hid it away as a 02:00:44 momento. >> So the I mean clearly Durst made the servant pregnant, >> right? Um, Mrs. Durst objected to that. >> Yeah, Mrs. Mrs. Durst starved her >> and >> seems like Yeah. >> So, >> they were they were locking her in her room is what they were doing, >> right? So, Mrs. Durst Must have exacted a terrible revenge on the servant girl and the but Mr. Durst. Uh, >> well, they were saying that the the letter that we had gotten said that the baby was still born, but like 02:01:47 >> Dan had said, they could have lied >> because because the baby was in the picture downstairs. >> Right. Right. >> Was this is this >> there could be some factors is sort of primogenature. Right. So the idea is this is a wealthy a wealthy uh you know burger of of the of this town the town of Aki. It could be and you guys aren't familiar with the cultural precepts around here but it could be that even a a um what's the word I'm looking for? a >> illegitimate 02:02:21 >> illegitimate child because because it was fathered by the head of the household might have certain rights um you know might be included in in pictures of that you know >> right and would inherit whatever because wasn't there some sort of like was it a mine I feel like there was some sort of >> you're talking about the mill >> the mill yes >> might information at that mill. >> Certainly, >> it belonged to the Durst family, >> right? >> To the kids. That were wasn't it deeded 02:02:58 to the kids? >> It was deed to the children. Yeah, that's right. Of which the youngest child was not mentioned, >> right? >> Yeah. The young The baby wasn't. Yeah, >> the baby wasn't, >> right? >> But then it's like, was he still born or not? >> Right. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. or >> well, let's let's go check the rooms out up here. >> We still got still got places to go. And wait, and we went out here, right? >> Yeah, that's the porch outside, 02:03:28 >> right? Okay. >> And we look there's there's nothing on the mantle. There's nothing because this >> the the the you mean the nanny's room? The nanny's room is almost >> Well, I wouldn't say it is completely bare of anything that would be considered decorative. The only real soop to that would have been the mirror. Uh, which is now over in the bushes and in a pile in a What did What did you I mean, I know you wrapped up the glass in a in one of the sheets. What do you Are 02:03:56 you just carrying that with you or >> or Dan was going to maybe do something where he was going to Dan has facility with glass, by the way. >> Yes, >> right. >> He's a try to melt it down to nothing. >> See how it disperses the magic. >> I think that's right. That's a good idea. If you can Can you do that he here or do you need equipment? >> No, I can do it in the spur of the moment if I need to. >> Well, you can do it right in the do it 02:04:23 right in the fireplace. >> Yeah, there's a fireplace right there. >> I think that's an excellent idea because if the glass is calling her or >> reconstitutes somehow. >> Yeah, reconstitute it and even turn it into something pretty if you want. How about I make a glass rose out of it? >> Can you make a glass baby? >> No, >> I could make a glass baby. How about a cherub? Something prettier than that. Baby little baby with wings. >> Make something beautiful from it. 02:04:56 Something but something sad. Something that like But yeah, of the the flower. Whatever your best guess is. She kept the flower. So that's nice to to to make it something. What about What about leaving the the fallen apart flower on the bed? >> There we go. I can do that. >> You don't want to take it with you as loot? >> No. >> I think it's far more beautiful to leave it behind. >> Yes. >> All right. So, Dan, tell me what and how you're going to manipulate that glass. 02:05:33 I'm going to melt it down and then shape it into a single row. >> Okay. Uh what what's the power that you use to melt it or do you want to say >> uh just the craft glass? >> Craft glass. All right. >> And then I have a spell that lets me create super hot fire. >> Okay. >> But that's just a can trap. But >> Gotcha. All right. So you're going to have that as somebody who melts glass a lot. >> Yep. So, you're gonna create this super 02:05:59 hot fire and you're gonna take portions of the glass and sort of sprinkle them in as you manipulate it into a Okay. And you build it into a into a flower, >> a rose. >> Do I Do you want to make a roll on my skill? >> I think you should. Yeah. To see how well you do this. >> All right. Craft. Where's my craft skill? There we go. Crafting. Here we go. What did you roll? >> Well above average. >> 15. That's pretty good. Yeah. So, it's not perfect. Uh but you're working with 02:06:39 broken shards of old glass. You know that this is not the finest material that you could be working with. But you do end up after a few after a couple of minutes, you do end up something which is recognizably a flower. Uh, it's probably not the prettiest flower ever crafted out of glass, but it's it's a it's a yman's job. >> Nice. >> I will place it on the bed. >> Gotcha. Okay. >> One more question. Is Iggy check to see if it still has magic? >> Yeah. Do I do it to check magic on it? 02:07:11 >> Sure. >> Uh, it does still radiate a little bit of magic. Uh, and it still radiates a little bit of necromancy magic. whatever whatever crafting you did to it, um it has not removed the magic from from the glass itself, >> but it's only a small amount. So, I think we're good. >> Yeah, it's not a ton. It's not it's not like and it's not again it's it's sort of diffuse, right? It's not like >> there's a particular necromancy spell 02:07:35 that's that's pinpointed that you can identify, right? It's it's sort of like um how would be the best I put it? Um, you know there's an old car in the garage because you can smell the exhaust. >> Yes, >> like that. >> Okay, >> good. And hopefully she's at rest. She got her maybe revenge on Madame Durst. >> Although seems like it should be Mr. Durst, but I think Mrs. Durst like you're saying. Yeah. >> You think Mrs. Durst was responsible for 02:08:19 her demise? >> Well, why would she so want to kill her attacker? >> Chase. It's weird though because like you say, it's almost like it was a movie playing over that the ghost has was stuck in a movie she kept having to relive. >> Yeah. >> And she did she did nothing until the bundle was brought into the room either. >> Right. Mhm. >> And it was only when Gruggilda brought the bundle and was laying it on the bed that this apparition of Lady, we assume it's Lady Durst, came coming out of the 02:08:52 nursery and aped sort of the the act of laying the bundle on the bed, the same as Gruilda was doing. Remember her hands sort of like she was like with, you know, sort of like there's Gruhilda. got the bundle and then this apparition comes out and essentially becomes like Grugilda and sort of her hands were on the baby and putting it on the bed as well. Maybe this is something that actually happened at some time. >> Mhm. >> That Lady Durst came in, put the baby on the bed or what was left of the baby. 02:09:30 >> Yeah. >> Right. If the baby actually was still born. Mhm. >> So maybe Killing the Baby kind of released everybody. >> Although there was a new bundle. >> So yeah, there's a there's a new >> But let's not do it again. >> No, agreed. >> No, I I don't need two black >> in the name of science. >> Right. >> Yeah, that that shiner is smarting up nicely. >> Punched by a baby. >> I got punched by a baby right in the 02:10:00 eye. >> Right. >> Uh all right. So, uh, >> and then she sliced it in half. >> Then she cut it in half in revenge. >> Take that, baby. I'll fix you. >> All right. Auda, you've gone into that room. That room there. Just to just to let you know, that's a a storage closet for what looks to be cleaning supplies. Uh, there are um, you know, various cleaning uh, supplies, brooms, dust pans, mops, things of that nature um that are uh, uh, you know, sort of 02:10:31 stacked up there. I wanted to >> push this this u wardrobe from away from the wall because you know both both times >> we saw well >> at least down in the first floor we saw a wardrobe with a whole oh liquor cabinet that was like a >> oh yeah >> with the hole and I just want to see if if just to make sure that there's no nothing spying there was nothing spying. >> Okay. Uh all right. So, uh, you you push that out of the way. Behind there, behind the thing, 02:11:09 >> uh, is a small, it looks like a little a little doorway. Uh, it's small, maybe 3 feet high. A little door. Uh, maybe 3 ft high. It has a little pull-in kind of uh hole that you would have to stick your finger in and sort of pull it out. But it looks like there's a little there's a little door there or a little cut something. There's there's a piece of the wall that is cut out and sort of replaced. So it's not o open. Uh it's like a little somebody put a little door there 02:11:41 >> like a kid could go through or a small thief. >> Uh yeah, I mean both could probably go through. It's not very tall. Maybe three three and a half ft high and maybe a foot and a half to two feet wide. It's yeah, it would be the right size for a child. Um, the nanny ghost, if the if the ghost of the nanny was representatively accurate of her actual size, she wouldn't have had much difficulty getting it through there. She was she was small. >> Okay. >> Could have kneel down and crawl in or 02:12:12 something. >> Sure. Anybody could kneel down and crawl in. >> Nice. Nice catch, Grim Hilda. That's >> nice. It was just like, you know, we already we saw like it was like a creepy and it just seemed >> Yeah. Yeah. The other >> creepy man maybe was spying on her somehow, >> right? >> Well, open her up. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Or um um should I Wait, hold. Should I check it first for traps or >> Yes. Oh, that's smart. Yes. Uh, real fast, I I'll do a quick perception check 02:12:46 for traps list and I roll a 17 boss. >> Okay. Uh, you do not see any traps, but like the in many ways like the um like the little uh the little kind of um the little thing that was built into the uh you know into the the little hole that was built into the uh thing. Hold on a second. >> Yeah, the liquor cabinet downstairs. >> Yeah. Well, uh, more like the little place where the where you guys found the flower. >> Oh, right. >> Uhhuh. >> That, uh, this looks like it was 02:13:21 handcrafted. >> Uh, as opposed to something that was built at the time of the construction of the building. >> It's It's crude is what I guess what I'm saying. >> Okay. Okay. Interesting. >> Okay. >> So, it open you you open it up. >> Yes, sir. I do. >> All right. You open it up and you see something very interesting. On the other side is what looks to be a stairway going upward. Uh there's a little platform right here next to it. >> Uh and the stairway that's going up. Let 02:13:56 me make sure that that's correct. Maybe Well, you guys are like up? That doesn't make any damn sense. You might be right. It may it may not make any damn sense. So, let me check real quick. >> Okay. Um just don't startle me. I'm holding a hot cuddle of water. >> Okay. >> Uh, one second. >> Wait. Wait. Here. Here we go. >> Yeah, it's going the stairs are going upward uh towards towards the fourth floor. >> Okay. Great. Huh. Okay. Um, Greg Hilda has discovered a secret 02:14:41 stairway go going up to the Thor floor. Look at that. Okay. Now, >> taking it. >> Well, first, do we want to look more on this Thor for more clues about >> and then we'll come back and see? May maybe it's just like a servant's stairway, you know? Maybe. >> Yeah. So, why would it have uh why would it be hidden? >> And >> well, maybe they only put the thing behind it when they locked her in. >> Maybe the nanny didn't know about the stairs. 02:15:15 >> Oh, yeah, that's true. >> Maybe it was the one Mr. Durst used to visit her. >> The stairs obviously predate the um the stairs predate the hole. stairs look like they would have been built at the time the house was built. The hole is newer, >> crudder, >> like somebody tunnneled into the stairs. >> Like somebody uh uh cut a hole in that wall to get at those stairs. >> Ah, okay. >> And then hid the fact that they done so. >> But the stairs only go up. 02:15:53 >> They only go up. Yeah. There's a small platform at the to the left like right here. Uh it just that's where it stops. >> Okay. Well, like like u Auda said, why don't we go up and check that other door so we don't miss something >> um >> else on this floor? >> What's what's over? Yeah. What's over here? Uh here. Here. >> Yeah, that's that's where I was thinking of going. >> I will scoot back over here. And let's 02:16:25 What do we have here? Uh, okay. So, you're going back uh up to the room. So, there's a couple So, yeah, you looked in the room. There's a there's a little ant room right here that you're in a Kudagawa uh that um I don't know. It's got a couple of doors. Uh these look like big uh large um >> you know, sort of double doors sort of in the middle there. Uh there's a smaller door, a single door down here. >> Um yeah, that's but on that it's just this looks like an ant room. There's 02:16:53 nothing There's nothing really of note in here other than the lots of dust. >> Okay, I see. But I see a uh a door here. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um >> just open it up. >> I didn't mean to actually, but but I just did. So >> Akuda accidentally opens the door. All right. So Auda steps in and you find yourself >> in a uh very strange Well, not that strange. It's a It's an odd room. Um there there's some there's some uh the carvings on the doors see show like 02:17:32 angels sort of in repose like lying on couches and beds and things like that. As you open up in the room, you hear the sound of the rain much louder. Uh especially over on the far side of the room where you bet where he feels like there's rain hitting some windows over there. You can see that there's some curtains that are drawn, but your guess is that there's some windows over there because you can hear the rain out there. >> Um, you see a what looks to be, at least to your eyes, a tiger skin rug rotting 02:17:58 on the floor there. >> I see. >> Uh, and above it sort of over here is a a little desk uh with a portrait uh sort of on the top. Um, it looks like So, here's what's weird. The portrait doesn't look like Mr. Durst. It looks like a different kind of person. Now, he's dressed in similar clothing. Uh but the person in this portrait that's on that desk is is looks very different from Mr. Durst. He's bald. Uh he has a huge mustache. Uh and uh the clothing he's wearing, he's also 02:18:41 uh quite a bit uh stouter. Um, uh, Mr. Durst, in at least in the portraits you've seen of him, was was tall, uh, and rather lean. Uh, this is not a tall, lean person. >> Could this have been Alco? >> It's possible. >> My dearest servant, Alco, uh, the count basically gave him the house after the, uh, >> after everybody died. >> Yeah, because it doesn't sound like it's Strod. >> No. Is there if we if we of course I'm not taking my hands off my sword, but if 02:19:16 we were to look at the back like sometimes people write >> like on the back of the portrait sign it. Yeah, possible. >> Uh there's no detectable signature on the portrait. Uh and when you flip it around, it comes it comes uh it's just like leaning against the wall. So you it pulls off quite easily. You don't even have to put your sword away to sort of uh uh put it on. It's not huge. It's maybe 18 by 24. Uh, and it's just of a single guy. There's no writing on the back of 02:19:48 the portrait. >> Okay. >> Uh, check the >> Go ahead. >> Check the desk and everything there to see if there's any paperwork. >> Well, there's some papers on top. Uh, and one of the drawers is is pulled out a little bit. And there does seem to be some papers and things in there as well. >> Oh, we should definitely look at those, but I'm not taking my hands off my sword. I'm going to just back so I'm like at the ready. Never know. >> So, you take a tension. Are you going to 02:20:14 take a look at those uh those papers? >> All right. Iggy, what are you doing? You staying out there in the in the entrance way just to make sure. >> Um I noticed another door here and I'm curious if anybody opened it or looked in it. >> Nobody's looked in it. >> To your to your left. No, we hadn't. >> All right. >> Cuz the Kudawa just burst right through this door. So, we're >> Since there's no combat going on, I think he would open this door. Okay. 02:20:39 Go for it. >> All right. So, let me do these guys, then we'll open that door and and we'll deal with your problems. Um, all right. So, Tensson, you kind of go through you kind of go through the documents and again, they have that strange kind of >> alternate universe common uh that they're spelled in. It's kind of you you you after looking at some of the documents from downstairs that were obviously um you know, Mr. Durst in his law office, uh these have a similar feel 02:21:07 to them. In this case, once you sort of wrap your eyes around the the idea of real, these particular documents deal with >> renovations, their construction estimates, um, materials lists. It looks like the plans and the preliminary bills for an extensive renovation of a mansion. >> Yeah, it sounds like it might be a leos. Uh if you're looking at it, uh I mean just a quick looking at some of the numbers could easily be at least as you sort of flip through these things and you see 02:21:43 where there are numbers are looks like there could easily be upwards of 15,000 maybe even closer to 20,000 gold pieces >> worth of costs listed in these kind of things. Somebody was looking at spending a lot of money uh on renovating if they were renovating this place and they were talking they were talking about spending a ton of money. One of the things you do notice is that the documents here look quite a bit younger than the documents you found in the office downstairs. Um, certainly these documents are not 10 to 15 years 02:22:13 old. They have less dust on them. That said, they don't look like they've been touched for a while. >> Mhm. >> Should we take all the documents? Did we take >> Yeah, we gra we we grabbed them. >> Yeah. >> If you want to read them, it's the uh journal. Click journal and there's a word of thanks and a vellum note and a servants note all up at the top. When you see them, you can pull them up and read them. >> Oh, yes, I see them. Yes, thank you. Okay. 02:22:48 Yeah, this seems like this might be the the bedroom of the the like the the parents, the you know, the ownersh. >> Well, I I think it's it could have originally have been the parents, but I think it's the Alco guy who the count gave the house to. >> Yes. >> Who has also possibly disappeared. >> Yes. >> Because Yeah. >> The house hasn't been touched in a long time. >> Yeah. Grillilda, you that thing that you're next to, that big that big red square, 02:23:23 that is a large bed. Uh >> canopy type bed. >> Yeah, canopy type bed with with bed curtains and stuff on it. Uh it looks >> It looks newer and sort of out of place >> uh than some of it's still quite old. There's still quite a bit of dust on it. It doesn't look like it's been slept in in a long time. Uh, but it does seem a bit newer and more and and not consistent with the rest of the house's decor, I guess, for lack of a better term. >> Uh, dressers. 02:23:54 >> Yeah, they're armwires. >> Did we find a basement? >> We have We've only gone up. We haven't gone down. If there's a >> Because there's an altar in the vellum note. It they mentioned >> Yeah. Yeah. I I saw that, too. But we were heading up for the kids' bodies first. So, >> okay. >> What we think are the kids' bodies. >> We We just haven't seen anything like a >> Nothing down yet that we have found, >> right? Like an altar. 02:24:28 >> Le I'm going to go ahead and open that. >> Okay. >> Arm wall or dresser or whatever you >> whoever if if if it is indeed this Alco guy has been staying here. It doesn't look like he's been using these armwires because inside they're filled with clothing. Uh but they the clothing is it doesn't look like these have been touched. If anything, this may be the armwires of Lord and Lady Durst. Uh it doesn't look like anything's been touched in here. There's a lot of 02:24:56 clothing on hangers, shoes, various kinds of accuchants. One one filled with male clothing, the other with female clothing. We should switch the arm warars away from the walls because they seem quite keen. Maybe the desk too. Do you know what I mean? Like they seem quite keen on the like like >> hiding everything behind the arm wall. >> He poles and and things behind the arm safes. There could be like a you know like a sneaky safe or something. >> Auda, you go over there by that table 02:25:26 and it's a little bit rough going because that whole corner is just filthy with cobwebs. Um, doesn't look like anybody has sat here. Uh, while the desk over by the wall seems to have have been used in in more recent times, as does the bed. Doesn't seem to fit in everything. Um, this table looks like it's been sitting here for ages. Uh, it's covered in cobwebs. There is a plate and a cup and saucer sitting on the table. The table itself seems to be made of some sort of stone, maybe 02:25:55 marble, uh, with wooden legs. And the chairs are are are well once were nicely upholstered chairs but now have succumbed in many ways to the to the uh predations of age. >> Give me a quick perception check of Kudagawa. >> Well do my god my roles tonight. >> I don't see your roles coming up at all. >> They're just getting sent to me. I see them. I don't know why they're why he's necessarily sending them in secret but um that's what he's doing. I have not 02:26:23 been or >> Well, they're I see them, but I they're they're coming in such a way as like what a secret message would do. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Why is that? >> There might be a You maybe have to like select an open roll or something like that. >> Oh, maybe there's those. Yeah. >> Open. >> Um All right, Dan, you're going to go ahead and open that. Uh >> uh yeah, I I I did and then I closed it again. >> Okay, you open it up. Uh, and 02:26:49 >> to come back to >> Yeah. Uh, it's been a while uh since you guys have ever seen anything like indoor plumbing, but here it is in all its glory. There's a white p beautiful white porcelain tub sitting on clawed feet uh with a sink and a privy. Uh there's a clay mug which sits on the back ledge of the sink and there's a a razor sitting in it. Um next to the mug is a is a big bar of what looks to be some sort of soap. It smells faintly of bleach in here. >> Uh the ceramic tile is like a black and 02:27:24 white pattern on the walls and things like that. >> Um >> what is this? >> What is That's the sink. >> Sink. Oh, I thought this was the sink. >> No, that's the toilet. >> That's the toilet. >> Oh, okay. And that's clearly the tub. Okay. >> Okay, Dan. I'm sending you a message. Don't be so sure. There's a ghost sitting on the toilet. Oh my god. >> Oh no. That's terrible. >> He's like He's like like Slimer from 02:28:00 Ghostbusters and he just rips one. >> So Dan, I'm gonna uh it's for some reason it's not letting me uh send you a message. So um basically try >> sending it to Iggy, not Dan. >> Okay, hold on. Oh, yeah. Okay, that works. Uh, all right. Cool. So, um, one second. I'm almost done. Unable to find a player with a character named Iggy. Okay. Uh Dan, as you and uh as you and Failen sort of step in, >> um you don't notice it at first, but suddenly the air feels quite cold, and 02:28:46 again, you can see your breath coming out of your mouth as you breathe. Uh there's also a smell, and you've smelled this before. Um it's rich and coppery, >> and it is almost unmistakably the smell of blood. As you look over at the tub, >> you see something >> in the tub where once there was nothing. >> Oh no. Where are you? >> All right. Hold on. >> Is that the nanny? >> Ah. >> Oh no. So, in the tub lying there, the tub is full and you can smell the I mean 02:29:30 the you see your breath kind of coming out of your mouth and you look in the tub and you can see what looks to be a woman lying in the tub. She's either unconscious or or dead. >> Uh and the tub water is is tinctured with blood. The smell of blood fills the room. She doesn't move. She just lays there. And soon the vision disappears. >> Wow. >> And you once again find yourself in an old well uh well uh well-maintained but uh uh un long unu long disused bathroom. >> Huh. 02:30:13 >> And that the temperature comes back down >> uh or comes back up. So your breath you can't see your breath anymore. >> Go catch up to the rest of the group and tell them I think I know how the nanny died. H perception check the nanny. Yeah, that's what I was going to ask. >> Or was it just one of the help? >> Wait, I thought the nanny starved to death. >> Well, that's what I'm thinking. That's There were other household workers. >> 16. 02:30:42 If the ghost that you saw in the nanny's room was at all indicative of the actual appearance of the nanny in life, that girl was not the nanny. >> The girl in the tub was not the nanny. >> E, that means she was killing other servants. Wow. >> Or maybe the other guy who came after >> it didn't look like it didn't look like a murder scene. It looked like a suicide. >> Suicide. Uh they they were saying some of their other help had um I forget I thought one of the uh letters or said 02:31:19 something about help coming in and needing more help something happening or something. >> Yeah. >> Um >> I remember that too. >> Rilga here. Here it is. Uh dearest mother, I'm scared here in this house. Though at times it can be bright and cheerful and the master is gentle and kind. I've seen and heard things here that make me question my sanity. I've decided to return home immediately. No, it is. And then it ends right there. >> This could be the young lady who 02:31:53 saw something that she couldn't live with. >> Right. >> Tenzen, give me a quick perception check, would you? >> Unless I'm locked in the bathroom now. >> Oh, no. >> You're locked in. >> Okay, >> that was bad. I can't get my characters out. There you go. Thank you. >> G is like, "What happened?" And you're like, "Lock myself in the can. >> Do not go in there for at least 20 minutes." And I >> You do not want to go in there. 02:32:30 >> Guggel is like, "What did you do in there? It smells like blood. You need to see a physician. He's like, "It was the monkey. >> It was the >> Leave it on the dog. >> Leave it on the dog." Right. All right. Uh yeah. So you guys um >> I don't see anything. >> Okay. No, I know. >> I I want to push I'll use my foot to push the desk to the side. Hopefully I can sort of push it either down or I can push it away from the wall. >> Okay. While holding your sword. 02:33:03 >> Yes. Well, >> yeah. The desk itself is not heavy. Uh, and you guys, you guys are both able to move it fairly easily. Um, Auda, give me a quick perception check to look for any secret doors or >> Okay. >> Peeppholes or U. >> Sure. Now, Les, I do not know why I'm rolling these. And only you see, I'm not trying to um be koi. I'm D. >> Is there at the maybe at the section at the top of the section where your where your rolls are, is there something that 02:33:35 says roll in the open or anything like that? Can you see anything like that, >> buddy? I do. I don't open >> I think there's a setting somewhere that you can that you could >> Yeah, there's so many settings and I feel like the one the whispering to GM is one. See, I just I I am not seeing that. >> Anyway, um I don't mean to to hold this up, but >> uh wait a sec. >> How did I get there? Oh. >> Oh, did you just change? I'm in your I'm 02:34:14 in your thing here. Is it moving around? >> That's good. Take your time. Please proceed. It's It's bugging me too. >> If you have a >> Okay. Go to options and it says roll general options. >> Okay. >> Is Is it in there? >> Uh limit height. Show. So you show action item for actions and feats. That's all he's got checked. >> Spells shine inventory alchemy variant. >> I don't remember making this change at all. I I don't remember. And I have 02:34:48 checked all the roll 20 options too. >> What is going on? >> So >> we'll get into it. >> I didn't mean to. >> Uh I I am not sure. >> Try now. >> I will perceive now. >> I found one thing. One thing that might be doing it. >> There we go. >> There we go. I found it. It's right next to you. See the little talk box next to the character button? >> Wait. No. Where? >> Right. Uh, I'm going to >> Oh, yeah. I see it now. The little black 02:35:25 thing. >> Yeah. >> Rolls to >> If that's If that's activated like it is now, >> uh, they only go to me. But if you unactivate it, then they go out in the open. >> I had no idea. >> Mystery solved. >> Anyway, I rolled a 11. >> Uh, perception. Yeah, you in this case uh the penchant for these people the tourists to uh have secret doors and stuff behind their furniture seems to have waned here uh because you do not find any secret doors or or peeppholes 02:35:53 or anything like that just a regular wall. >> Yes sir. Less when um it's convenient for you I would like to do just a general search of the room under the rug under the bed behind the dressers. Uh there there's a door over here that I haven't >> There is a door over there. It leads out onto another balcony. This one facing the rear uh and east side of the building. You're talking about this this door right here. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> Yeah, that door leads out into here. 02:36:23 I'll open it up for you. It opens out. It just opens up. It's a little b another little balcony. Uh in this case, attached to the You suspect that this might have been the master suite. >> I understand. Okay. Um when you um are ready, I would like to just roll a perception check just for anything traps. Um do it. Um hidden gold, you know, >> okay, I am searching for relics. >> 18. All right. >> Found one. >> Uh all right. So there doesn't seem to be any like secret doors or anything 02:36:59 like that. No. Uh you don't find anything like that. Behind the curtains in the north are are windows that that go out onto the back uh and off you can see off into the uh uh into the you know the the area around that's bounded off for Vaky. Um you can see those things. The only thing that you spot and it's almost in passing is over here uh over on the table >> there seems to be something tucked under the plate. Okay, I I will get that. What is that? >> It's a piece of paper uh it's a piece of 02:37:35 paper um that is folded in four four quarters >> uh and uh written in longhand. It has been there a long time. Uh the dust is extreme. You have to knock it off. But um eventually you see it. >> Whoa. It says, "Drasha, I have selected you as the beast's custodian in my absence. >> Should the beast grow unruly or show signs of agitation while I am away, I have left this amber shard to weaken it and soothe its fury. Should the need arise, present the shard and speak the beast's name to quiet its tantrums, but 02:38:15 be sure to be gone from the house before it awakens at midnight." >> What time is it? >> Uh, it's about 3:30, 4:00 in the afternoon. Okay. Okay. >> So long as the beast draws breath, it not you is the heart of this house, >> and no meal shall ever sate its appetite. >> Should you linger in its domain, it will mean doom for you all. Signed, Elizabeth. >> Oh. >> Uh, isn't Elizabeth? That's Mrs. Durst's name. >> That's Mrs. Durst's name. 02:38:46 >> Who is Dasha? >> Don't know. Was there a piece who committed suicide in the bathroom? >> There was no shard or anything like that. It was just the note folded up and tucked under the plate almost as if >> casually. It wasn't hidden. It was sort of like peering out. >> We should check the body that Oh, no. But there's no body. It was a vision. >> There was no body. >> It was a vision. >> Oh, the neater eyes present the shard and speak the beast's name. 02:39:17 >> Do we need to check? Well, Dasha, who is Dasha? >> Um, >> I don't think I've heard that name. >> As far as you can recollect, that name has not been on any other documents that you found in the house. >> Do we know? Do we recognize the name? Like, is it a man's name or a woman's name? >> Probably a woman's name. >> Woman's name. >> I wonder if if that was the girl who killed herself in the tub. Right. So, it could have been her. Do we You said 02:39:51 Wait, what did you say? There was a note. Um, >> should we serve? >> Should we check the bathroom again? Maybe she hid it in the bathroom. >> I didn't I didn't search it. Yeah. >> Speak to be name. >> You can at least go search it. >> Yeah. Yeah, that's good. I will go >> search it >> search. >> All right. So you uh who's who's going to go in the bathroom and search? >> Uh I'll go. >> Okay. >> Or actually maybe 02:40:28 got the good he can with the good eyeballs. But I'll go near just in case something ghostly pops out that I need to. >> There we go. >> So you're standing in the doorway. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Auda with your 19 perception. So similar kind of thing happens when you go in the room. Uh you uh are in there for just a few moments looking at the thing. It's a it's a beautifully uh um constructed bathroom uh with many things that you as a as a urban goblin have never seen. Uh you know a water a 02:41:01 toilet that's not something that goblins traditionally use. Um, so, uh, you know, but again, uh, and so, Gruggilda and Iggy, you guys see this almost before Akudagawa does in that as a Kudagawa is kind of like looking around, suddenly you begin to see Audawa's breath in the air above. Uh, you guys don't feel a temperature change out here. U, but, Audawa, yeah, you do. You suddenly, >> okay, >> it gets very cold and you can smell blood in here. >> And you see >> the same vision 02:41:35 >> that that Iggy described >> a woman it looks like in servants clothes >> uh sitting in the tub. Uh the water >> she's fully clothed. I don't think that's a suicide. >> She's Yeah, she's wearing her clothing. Yeah, but why would she why would a servant, unless she was going to take a bath, strip her clothes off, she was going to commit suicide, she'd just get in the water, cut her wrists, and that's what I think she did. >> Why get in the water? Why? Why fill the 02:42:04 tub full of water? >> Cuz it's warm. It makes it u It makes it better than that. >> Who knows? >> If you cut it, >> it's fantasy. Of course she knew. >> Wow. >> Soon after a few moments as you gawk and stare at it, it begins to slowly mist away and you find yourself looking again at a nice but old clawfoot tub empty of water, empty of dead bodies. >> We should definitely search the room though because maybe >> I guess if she had the sharks, she might 02:42:42 have hit it in the bathroom. Sure. >> Right. Or it could have been hand and fallen like behind a crack in the floorboard or something. >> Yeah, unless Iggy upper decked that toilet. I >> the toilet. Oh my god. >> All right. So, Akuda, you going to search around? >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> All right. Uh, give me a perception. >> Okay. I um >> or wait, was the 19 the 19 was your perception? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, yeah. So you after seeing that 02:43:11 vision uh you're a little bit you're a little bit like freaked out although you're like it's part for the course for this place. Um you hunt around uh the soap is uh is is expensive and probably I mean it's nearly a full bar. The razor is would have been equally expensive on the sink but it's useless now. It's corroded. Um, the blade is has corroded itself inside this the the razor and it's it's not it's it's not useful anymore. The toilet is empty of water 02:43:41 and the tank doesn't have any water in it. So, uh it's obviously disused. The tub also similarly empty. Um it's copper. The uh the tub itself has has is the bottom of it is made of copper uh which might fetch a pretty penny, although it's got quite a bit of vertigree on it. Uh so it's it's greenish rather than coppery. Um but uh but it's a fair amount. I mean >> several pounds. >> It's antiqu. >> Antiqu. Yeah. >> Remove the antique. You change its 02:44:09 price. >> Exactly. Right. Uh if you were to somehow remove the copper from this tub and pack it out of here, you might be able to sell it. It's It would be several pounds of copper. >> Um I will not haul away the copper right now. Um I I I will make a a little um thief uh mental note a a um perloining mental note about it. Um >> gotcha. That much copper. I mean that had uh that had put a put a Missouri methhead in goodstead for for a week and a half. >> You know the first week I moved I lived 02:44:51 in a holler and but but Eckley, West, Virginia. Um, for about nine months. Um, and the first week I lived in in this little cottage in the holler. Somebody crawled underneath, stole all the copper. >> No kidding. >> Wow. >> Woke up. It was a big flood. >> You know, apparently I just slept through it. >> That's some good sleeping. I I mean the flood was under the house. I I woke up and I heard this. Why is the the water rushing under the house? Did Did I move out onto the creek or 02:45:35 something? Wow. >> You can hear it. Oh, man. That's brutal. >> Yes. Anyway, >> it's true. It's true. >> Uh all right. So, the last thing with the 19 perception, uh, you're sort of like you've you've kind of gotten onto the idea that sometimes the walls aren't exactly walls and there's things in there. So, you're kind of like knocking around and checking the walls for secret doors and things like that. You don't find a secret door, but as you're sort 02:45:59 of knocking on the walls and testing things, the wall behind the sink, >> gives off a pretty significant hollow noise. >> Okay. There's a void behind it, but there's no but and when you hear that v that noise, you're like, "Ah, there's a I found another secret door." You did not. There's no door that you can find. There's no access panel, no hidden people, nothing like that. The wall, at least the one you're facing, is solid, >> but it does sound hollow on the other 02:46:29 side. >> I got it. Okay. Um Okay. Uh and no, no access. >> Nothing you can see. No. >> All right. What if it's accessible from where Iggy's at? Oh, >> that that's or from the next room. Uh >> or from the next room. Yeah. >> Peruse all around it. It would probably be your >> You want to take a look all around it? >> Yes, sir. Please. >> Okay. >> And Failen will use Sonic as well, just in case. >> Okay. Then I need perceptions from Akuda 02:46:58 and Failen. All right. Accuda got an 18. >> Sorry, I'm so slow. Right. >> That's all right. Where do I find that familiar? Sorry. There we go. And then perception. Got it. >> And 20. So 20 for uh failing. So um Akuda, you you look you double look at all the walls. You're convinced that you're that you're missing something. You even remove move the the table the the desk from the other room back away from the wall so you can get full full access to the back wall. And while that hollow no, 02:47:38 that hollow sound from behind that wall continues unabated, you cannot find any access point. No doors, no people, no no secret latch, nothing. Uh uh Failen, your sonic abilities do progress through things uh through solid things, especially when things of flimsier nature, I guess, not flimsy, but like walls and stuff, you can sort of get an impression of what's beyond. Uh and Failen agrees with Akudagawa. There is some sort of void back there. It is hollow. Um, in fact, Failen even more so 02:48:16 thinks that based on sort of the the sonic resonances that she gets back, she feels like that that's stone back there, whereas the wood that you guys are seeing is is is whereas the walls that you're dealing with are wooden walls. Um, she thinks that there's stone, that it's lined, either lined or made of stone. That's the echoes are telling her that that these echoes like stone, not like wood. >> I see. >> But she doesn't sense an opening here. So, we should check in the next room. 02:48:50 >> The beast. >> Uh, she I'm assuming she's accompanying a Kudagaw. >> Yeah, you guys go all the way around and do not find an any kind of >> on a different floor. >> That's That's possible. >> Possible. Yeah. >> Well, uh, we're going to file that away, too. Um there's still tons to explore on this floor, I think. Um and we have that secret um stairway over here that that we found as well, >> right? >> Um >> and worst case scenario, you know, we do 02:49:26 we have an axe? We could just like bust through the wall, right? If we >> Do you guys have an axe? >> No. I think I maybe have like a throwing axe or something. >> I mean, a hatchet style axe would I mean >> a wooden wall. I mean, it's probably just a panel of some sort, you know. >> I have a crowbar. I have a crowbar. I don't have an axe. >> Well, >> oh my god, I'm a dwarf without an axe. >> Well, there is Well, why is there >> disappointing turn of events? There is a 02:50:02 glaive that the suit of armor out in the front had >> that I was going to give to you, uh, Gwen, so that you would have it if you wanted to use it. >> Oh, right. Because once I can take the cleric dedication, the glaive is the um the weapon of of the deity. >> Well, yeah, this this uh suit of armor here had the glaive. >> Okay. >> It was a very serviceable one. That would have to be cut down to size to to um to work for to work for Grildilda. But um I mean that would just be a 02:50:36 matter of sawing off a portion of the handle. >> Right. Right. Okay. Awesome. >> Do you guys want to try clocking some of that wall with a hatchet or the glaive? >> Well, might as well. Yeah. Give it a try. >> All right. So, you go back and get the glaive and and and Grildilda pulls out her hatchet and you guys where where about are you guys like knocking into the wall. >> Where where did Failen and uh Akuda give us the >> sound sound at its weakest? >> Uh don't know. I I think Failen would 02:51:12 tell you that there there would didn't there was no instances of any obvious weak points. This seems like a good place right here in this hallway. >> He's gonna try where he's standing. Although, he's going to push that desk over. >> Okay. Yeah, that desk assume that desk is pushed back over by the >> uh thing. It's part of the map. I can't. But um All right. So, Gilda, you start working on that thing, chopping the the wood, and you find pretty quickly. And 02:51:38 Iggy, I'm assuming you do the same thing with the glaive or do you have an axe or what do you do? How are you? >> No, just my glaive. >> Just the glaive. Okay. Uh yeah. So you guys pretty quickly find essentially the same thing. The wall uh the wooden wall is largely paneling backed onto a wooden a wooden board which is maybe an inch or two thick. >> Once you chop through that uh Oh yeah, thanks. Uh once you chop through that, um very quickly you guys realize that these the wood uh is attached or mounted on 02:52:14 stone because once you pull some of the wood wood back uh you find a stone wall >> uh on the other side, which is much more likely to give you a lot more trouble uh with an hatchet, a hatchet or a glaive. The wood comes away reasonably fast. >> Nothing like that. No. >> Does it look like um like a chimney? It's not circular. It's flat. Um, so maybe I mean it could be a chimney. If it's a chimney, it's in a spot where you have not yet seen any sort of fireplaces. 02:52:50 >> Right. Right. >> The only other thing I was thinking is the dumb waiter, but uh >> I don't think that's in the >> Yeah. And why would that be stone? This is like stone. Seems like you want to keep something in >> or you want to keep someone out. >> Well, you need it for structure for something. >> Like I said, maybe it's accessible from a different floor. I think it's going to be accessible. Just I I would rather rather than um trying to hammer our our 02:53:24 way through. My um little goblin finesse instinct says let's let's tinker some more. Maybe on a different floor. Um >> let let's let's make a mental note. Um we have some more doors. We have not checked yet, but it is past midnight on the east coast. >> Oh, yeah, it is. That is >> Oh, yeah. Yeah, it is. >> All right. So, here's a This is a pretty decent break point and give you some time to celebrate on what that that void and behind the stone might be, but we'll 02:53:56 stop here. Uh, and I'll see you guys all again in two weeks. Yes, two weeks. >> Yes. Yes. Thank you. Two weeks for today will be the uh Sunday after Thanksgiving. >> Excellent. >> Is that right? Oh, no, no, no. Wait, no. It's the 23rd. It's the Sunday before Thanksgiving. That may be a problem. So, I have to I'm going to be in in in uh >> Cleveland, Mississippi that weekend. >> Mississippi. >> Yeah. Uh Jonas Jonas has a big s swim meet. Uh it is the home of Delta State 02:54:33 University. >> Uh and so he has a big swim meet there. So we're going for the whole weekend. So I I will let you guys know, but I don't know that I'll be back in time for the 23rd. So it might be four weeks. >> Um there there uh is five Sundays on that month. >> The uh the fifth Sunday is we're we've got a team uh again the final final final 18 meeting. >> Final 18 Yeah, with the stories. >> Oh, cool. >> Yeah, >> I didn't know anything. That's great. 02:55:06 Pay >> attention. Sorry. >> Yep. So, uh because I haven't sent anybody anything yet because I'm lazy. >> Okay. >> But you whatever it is, you'll you'll you'll you'll write it in the >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'll let you know. Uh uh I'll let you know about the 23rd. If But um regardless of the 23rd, I will let you know the closer it gets. Either way, we will be back in business on the 14th of of December regardless. >> Okay. >> Forward. 02:55:34 >> Awesome. >> Thank you so much. >> Thank you guys. This was great. Uh we will talk soon. All right. Good night. See you guys. Night everybody.
